Toys from the ’60s Skat Skoota + Great Giveaway
Blog Note: The Chief Blonde brings you the Skat Skoota information for your enjoyment. She received a promotional item.
Skat-Skoota (or Skat Skoota) is like Walking on Wheels!
The Skat Skoota made by Empire (or Eagle Toys Canada), from the 1960s was a riot to play on and also a total death trap. Essentially, you pedaled it to ride it. The pedals often got stuck in a wonky way, throwing you from the toy and causing skinned knees and hands (WHO wore pads or helmets in the ’60s?)
The tires and wheels of the Skat Skoota were brightly colored polyethylene. It was a super durable toy. You can occasionally find Skat Skootas for sale on eBay. They tend to go for around $20. If you find one buy it! Although this toy only goes in a straight line, it provides hours of fun (and/or broken limbs!)

This looks fun and interesting but not very safe. Maybe that is why we don’t see these now.
i have ever heard of this befre but its pretty cool. i like it great exercise and fun activity
I was a kid in the 60″s and never heard of the Skat Skoota! The big thing was roller skating on sidewalks with the skates that attached to your shoes.
Before today, I had never heard of the Skat Skoota! It looks like it was fun and a death trap!!
I like that you can do things while you wait for something. You can write yourself note, make shopping list, through grocery list and match up coupons, or you can just play a mindless game and destress. If you fall asleep waiting for your kids, there’s an app for that. I have two alarm clock one as a regular alarm and the other one to go off when I need to be somewhere. Never late for anything anymore
the medical apt sounds helpful
I REALLY like the Keyring app..I hate having to look in purse/wallet for the right loyalty card sometimes I am just like forget it!
They give you encouragement. For the pill one I can see where that would be really helpful for when my memory starts to go.

It amazes me that they have an app for everything….no excuses anymore!
I like the Manilla app to stay organized. It’s great that you only need one password to access all of your household accounts, including your finances, utilities, travel rewards, and subscriptions, and I really like that there are reminders and custom alerts!
It is amazing how far technology has come in the last few years and how almost anything we can imagine is right at our fingertips. Thank you
