Control your Spring Regime
Bright flowers, fresh vegetables and warm weather – what’s not to love about Spring? Now is the perfect time for your readers to come out of hibernation from the cold winter months and take control of their diet, health and exercise regime, while enjoying Spring with confidence.
3 Helpful tips to reboot your Springtime routine
1. Diet: March is National Nutrition Month, so start spring off right! Jump start your metabolism by eating a balanced breakfast daily which will help boost energy levels and increase calories burned throughout the day.
2. Exercise: March is the month to trim your tummy, strengthen your core and gain confidence in your appearance. Even if working out at the gym every day is unrealistic, make exercise fun and part of a regular routine with daily walks or hiking excursions. With the improved weather, fresh air will be an added plus.
3. Health: Did you know that 20 million women ages 40+ wear dentures (according to 2009 Fixodent Beauty & Aging Survey)? It can be a challenge for denture wearers to keep their mouth healthy and clean, while enjoying all the fun outdoor activities that Spring has to offer with confidence. Fortunately, using an adhesive like Fixodent is a simple step to make a difference. Fixodent protects your mouth from hidden dangers. It helps seal out food particles and kills odor-causing bacteria for a clean mouth and fresh breath

I think this is a good idea. Brush your gums, tongue, and natural teeth with a fluoride toothpaste, such as Crest®, before reinserting your dentures. This will help remove plaque from your teeth, stimulate circulation in your mouth, and help maintain good oral health. Thanks for this contest.
rinse with mouthwash
I like the Never try to adjust your dentures yourself tip. I have seen family members try to adjust them and break teeth or bend a tooth out.
keep your regular dentist visits this is beneficial to make sure your gums and teeth are OK
that a little bit goes a long way
dont soak your dentures in hot water…..Hot always seems to me to be the most sterile but it can mess them up if you do.
Not to mess with the adjustments. 🙂
Keep your dentures moist when you aren’t wearing them. This is something I never knew and have worn dentures for many yesrs.
Dentures need to be cleaned with a brush as well as soaked every day.
The most beneficial: Rinse and brush your dentures in clean, warm water with a denture brush. Why? Not everyone knows how to care for dentures, so it’s a good starting tip. Thanks! hstorm799{at}gmail{dot}com
Keep your dentures moist when you aren’t wearing them. Because I wouldn’t have known that otherwise
brushing too hard can cause scratching.
The tip I found most interesting is to keep dentures moist…did not know that.
Since I don’t have dentures and hope that I never have them, the most important things that I do to keep my natural teeth healthy is to brush at least once every day with a fluoride toothpaste, such as Crest®, then rinse with mouthwash and visit my dentist every six months.
Keep going to your dental check ups!
Flossing often is good too!
Always keep dentures moist when not wearing them & adjust them yourself! This would be a blessing & thank u!
Thanks for the giveaway…”Keep up your regular dentist visits.” Regular prophylaxis by a dental health professional can save you money…and your overall health…in the long run !
Realistically, none of the tips apply to me, since I do not have dentures, but members of my family do. I know at least one who should have known the tip about not adjusting them himself.
I didn’t know you should always keep your dentures wet. No one ever told me it could warp them if you didn’t.
Brushing with a fluoride toothpaste is important to NOT needing dentures.
