Pink Clouds Float Me Through My Hectic May

May 13, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 15 Comments

Reebok SkyScape Shoes, A new kind of shoe category?

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Reebok SkyScape shoes. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. #Skyscape

The Chief Blonde moves her son home from college in her Reebok Skyscape shoes ($65, on sale for $60 at Kohls)

Cute comfort for running around

Mid-Spring has exploded for us. Our first son moved out of his apartment by his law school and is off to Washington D.C. for the summer. Our second son, who is married graduated from college just last week (Yeah…so proud!). Our third son is staying put in his apartment but will be around more because he only has one class for the summer. Our daughter is home for the summer for the first time since she was 12! Whew, you can imagine the pace we have been keeping around here!

As a result, I knew my usual 3″ heels were not going to cut it for the work involved. I was super excited to receive the opportunity from Kohl’s and Reebok to try out the Reebok Skyscape Runaround Walking Shoes. I chose the pink ones. Be advised these are a super bright pink and really a fun color to make your outfits pop!

Reebok Skyscape Runaround Walking shoes — Tons of comfort in 5 ounces!

Giving you a shot of the cushion like sole and upper of the Reebok SkyScape Runaround

I am a person who buys shoes on cuteness factor with daily comfort being secondary to me. However, I must say these received a 5 star rating on both aspects. I truly felt like I was wearing an expensive pair of slippers versus a shoe. The feel is very cushy, like you are being provided all-day-comfort around your foot! I thought it was unique that the Skyscape is was a mere 5.0 ounce shoe, probably the lightest pair I have in my closet!

Just like molded foam bras?

I had read that the upper of Reebok Skyscapes shoes were made out of the same kind of material that they use when they make molded foam bras, so I was intrigued to try them as I ran around doing my daily errands. It’s amazing but I have never had a shoe that feels like this, it’s almost as if Reebok has created a whole new shoe category. Believe me I have over 50 pairs of shoes, I have no other pair that provides comfort and fun like the Reebok Skyscape shoes.

Perfect for overall daily comfort and everyday use

On top of shopping and moving, I found that my new pink Skyscapes worked well for general coach lounging and web surfing.

I love these shoes. I just bought a different lightweight brand and love those, too, but these are far more stylin’. Gonna find me some.

I LOVE my Skyscrape! The color was brighter than I expected, but I think that made them that much better! I wear them every chance I get!

I love that they look amazingly comfortable buy not too sporty if you want to wear them with regular clothing.

I have a bad knee, so I am always on the look-out for a good supporting, yet stylish shoe. Did these shoes work for all-over leg and foot comfort? Let me know!! If so, I will be grabbing a pair or two!!

OMG, those are the cutest! Like you, I choose shoes on the cuteness factor too. I think I saw some cute black ones with red trim on the web, but I don’t know whether they were the lightweight molded bra material that these are. Super cute, super interesting!

I cannot tell you how much I love these pink shoes! Reebok knows that not all women want a black shoe. They just make me happy as a clam

As someone who often goes with no shoes, or in flip flops, I saw these the other day and fell in love. I rarely ‘invest’ in footwear, but I have put them on my list for the vibrant colors, flexibility, and lightweight wear. They seem like the natural fit for me!
