Pink Brocade Wedding Luxury: Outfits Modeled by Women over 45

March 2, 2011 By Shelley Zurek

The Chief Blonde goes to her Niece’s Wedding in a LendingLuxury.com Selection

Outfits modeled by women over 45 Lendingluxury.com

The Chief Blonde is wearing Carmen Marc Valvo Brocade Dress provided by LendingLuxury.com ($565, rental $75), vintage purse and rhinestone earrings, Pashmina Ladies shawl ($19.99), Bebe Gold Platform Heels ($89), Wacoal Ipant Shapewear ($60)

Going to my niece’s wedding was something I had been planning for a long time.   The HAIR was inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker, the NAILS were a sparkly pink shellac, the eyelashes are by MAC cosmetics.

The Chief Blonde contrasted against the Model from LendingLuxury.com.  Maybe I should have tried to rock the Bare leg look but my legs are so disgustingly incredibly pale!  What do you think?

This shot was taken at the reception.  I kept hijacking people all night to take my picture.  A few glasses of wine made posing quite a bit easier!

You look sweeter than the model. I love your smile. And the dress is very nice. You’ve inspired me to dress up a bit more often. Those of us past a certain age should revel in our wisdom and mature curves.

    Stumbled you back.

In the words of Sarah Jessica Parker, you look fabulous! You look amazing in all the pictures, but I think the last one is my favorite – you just look so model-y there and beautiful without even trying!
I stumbled you – thanks for stopping by my blog too! 🙂

hi blonde, thanks for stumbling me, i’ve stumbled you right back!
i love the hair and the dress and the shoes. i’ve mixed feelings about the stockings. i’m not a fan of stockings and have boycotted them for years.

i have one more year until i’m 45 and thanks to hair loss i wear a blonde wig. does that count?

    • stillblondeafteralltheseyears says

      March 2, 2011 at 10:58 am

Yes Pam, it sure does. Actually being Blonde to me is a state of mind and Heart, not an outward appearance thing. So you fit right in, blonde wig and all. If you desire to be a Blonde–you are!
