Patchwork Denim for Spring

May 1, 2017 By Shelley Zurek 208 Comments

Patchwork Denim for Spring at the Valley of Fire

Valley of Fire 10 2016 Patchwork Denim for spring The Chief Blonde at the Valley of Fire in a Patchwork Denim dress from Shopbop.  Dingo Boots,

I’ll take a great denim dress anyday!  Patchwork denim isn’t so typical for me but it’s having a bit of a moment right now, and I think you’ll agree, it can be incredibly cute or incredibly wrong.

Patchwork Denim

We had a blast in the Valley of Fire. The Valley of Fire Stave Park is located in the Mojave Desert approximately 58 miles Northeast of the Las Vegas Strip.   World-renowned for its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled in gray and tan limestone, Valley of Fire State Park contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years.

There are new vistas around every corner. It’s a fantastic location for taking outfit shots, wedding photos or scenery shots. A trip there can take most of the day to really see the park. Make sure you have on your hiking shoes to hike down into some the of prettiest areas.

I think the “Allonly Men’s Destroyed Slim Fit Straight Leg Patchwork Embroidered Ripped Jeans With Broken Holes And Patches” are fun- the sort of thing we used to make ourselves, back when I was in college (mid 1970s) from second-hand jeans we got at Canal Street Jeans for $2.00 each! The Women’s Blue Denim Patchwork Shirts (what I assume you are wearing in the photo) are quite nice- not “raggedy”!- and they’d go with anything.

I really like the Joe’s Jeans Women’s Collector’s Edition Icon Midrise Skinny Ankle Jean. They’re the perfect fit and wash, without being too crazy on the patchwork.

I really like the Big Star Women’s Patchwork Cropped Jeans. I am tall so it is hard to find long enough jeans so I love my capri like pants.

I have never seen so many denim patchwork products in one place before! I looked and oh my gosh! I’m in love with the Coach Denim Patchwork Signature Gallery Tote. It’s outside my price range but what a gorgeous bag! If I ever win the lottery you can bet this is one I would LOVE to try!
