New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016 Manicures

It appears that, just like Spring/Summer 2015, NYFW Spring Summer 2016 Manicures have two trends: ultra-nude/barely there/pink/golds or opaque brights/lights. I didn’t bring you any of the ultra-nudes and barely theres because, quite frankly, they are a yawn to look at. I prefer the nude shade but they just don’t make great pictures.

Rebecca Minkoff, fashion designer and essie’s Global Color Designer, chose “lucite sunset” for her main mainicure design for her Spring Summer 2016 Manicures look. This trend was directly inspired by the chunky Lucite heels found throughout the Spring/Summer 2016 footwear collection. essie nail products used: first base base coat, tarte deco, beach bum blu, midnight cami, gel setter top coat
Taking inspiration from Sophie Theallet’s African themed Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Julie Kandalec for essie created a modern crocodile nail design with shades licorice and leggy legend.
Veronica Beard took inspiration from Miami Beach in the 1970’s for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection. To pair with the “baked out” color palette, Glamsquad for essie created a statement half moon nail look by using clambake, a creamy red-orange, on the tip of the nail.

I am obsessed with Essie’s Smokin Hot right now. It’s such a great transition color for fall and makes me want to wear leopard print for some reason.
I love the Allure London It’s Vintage nail colour cause it’s perfect for Fall! I like rich colors, and this color would go perfect with most of my fall outfits. It would also match my new scarf I just bought for Fall!!

I love the #2 Scarabée’ Nail Colour (Limited Edition) by Christian Louboutin, the color will look amazing in sunlight and I love the color for Fall.

I like the essie dark red color because it reminds me of the fall leaves.
I love the Vert d’Orient. It reminds me of summers past. by Yves St Laurent.
I love the Butter London brick lane enamel. So festive.
I like JINsoon ‘Jasper’ Nail Lacquer. Its just screams fall for me.
The lace is on, essie nail polish. It’s eye catching and vibrant.
I love Deborah Lippmann ‘Roar’ Glitter Nail Color because the gold reminds me of fall colors and glitter is always fun!

It looks like a cross between burgundy and red. So would be a great fall color as well as a holiday hue for parties!
I like the Butter London color. It is a tan, brown which is perfect color for fall that is coming up here.
The Butter London in Brick Lane really speaks to me because Halloween is coming up. That would be such a fun color to rock for the holiday!
Scarabée’ Nail Colour in teal is so wonderful for Fall! It makes me want to go pile on leaves and have hto cocoa
