New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016 Manicures

Jin Soon Choi created colorful nail art that played with the monochromatic theme of the Tibi SS16 collection. JINsoon products: JINsoon Spring 2016 Collection (Picture above supplied by JINSoon and BPCM)
It appears that, just like Spring/Summer 2015, NYFW Spring Summer 2016 Manicures have two trends: ultra-nude/barely there/pink/golds or opaque brights/lights. I didn’t bring you any of the ultra-nudes and barely theres because, quite frankly, they are a yawn to look at. I prefer the nude shade but they just don’t make great pictures.

Brooks Brothers by Zac Posen’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection was highlighted by Glamsquad for essie who created a standout nail design that played on the plaids and interesting stitching details found throughout the garments, all while keeping true to brand’s classic resort feel. essie nail products used: first base base coat, fifth avenue, pret-a-surfer, bikini so teeny, sand tropez, , quick-e quick drying drops

Jenny Packham’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection with earthy, ethereal vibe was highlighted when Rita Remark for essie, the brand’s new Global Lead Educator, chose this nail look: a standout bright blue to add an element of fun. essie nail products used: first base base coat, butler please, good to go top coat

Rebecca Minkoff, fashion designer and essie’s Global Color Designer, chose “lucite sunset” for her main mainicure design for her Spring Summer 2016 Manicures look. This trend was directly inspired by the chunky Lucite heels found throughout the Spring/Summer 2016 footwear collection. essie nail products used: first base base coat, tarte deco, beach bum blu, midnight cami, gel setter top coat
Taking inspiration from Sophie Theallet’s African themed Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Julie Kandalec for essie created a modern crocodile nail design with shades licorice and leggy legend.
Veronica Beard took inspiration from Miami Beach in the 1970’s for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection. To pair with the “baked out” color palette, Glamsquad for essie created a statement half moon nail look by using clambake, a creamy red-orange, on the tip of the nail.

The Essie cream polish in Berry Naughty. It is a gorgeous wine color and I love that color for fall.
The fall color that is inspiring me now is Butter London “Jaffa”.
I really like the butter london macbeth! so bright and cheery for dreary rainy fall days!
The Essie nail polish in pearly white I love it and would use it for daily wear out.
I love the ‘Power of the Gem’ Gel Polish in Zircon. So pretty
I like In The Lobby by Essie. I love purple nail polish!
I love Essie’s The Beiges, particularly the Jazz. I love soft, subtle colors, and more natural colors. I prefer my nails to look like I barely have on polish.
I am totally digging metallic trends for nails & nudes (even though like you mentioned, nudes are a bore to photo). But nonetheless I love them 😉 Thanks for sharing! Always looking for more nail trends to try!!!
i love the essie polish in fishnet stockings. i would pair it with a cozy sweater, leggings, and boots 🙂
NARS Endless Night is inspiring, as the nights grow longer and darker colors feel more appropriate.
I love Essie In the Lobby. I would wear it on my toes though!
I love the mani in the top photo. I doubt I could pull it off though. I keep my nails short.
I love Mac’s “Tropical” Studio Nail Lacquer. I love shimmery, plus the gold is perfect to accent the burgandy & green sweater colors in my closet for Fall. ‘Tis my favorite season!
I’ll have to pass on the finger nail polish as I’m a straight car guy that is trying to buy a heavy duty White model 130 for upholstery. Okay, all laughter aside, I REALLY appreciate your sites help in hunting down a manual for this model! Thank you!!!

You won’t pay any extra but I will make a tiny affliate amount which helps me run my blog! The Chief Blonde
Tangerine On The Rocks LED Nail Gel Polish is the perfect color for fall. It is a bright orange color that makes me think of pumpkins and the beautiful leaves that fall up North. Orange fits for both Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays. The Tangerine On The Rocks is also a bit brighter than other shades which makes it nice for even the summer time.
The essie Cream Nail Polish is elegant looking, not gaudy and could used at many functions.
Hellooo! 🙂 I’d love to submit!
Do you do nails? I would love to see examples of your work. The Chief Blonde
the Fall 2015′ Mini Four-Pack inspires me because of the perfect combination of fall colors
I like the Essie
Nail Polish pearly white because it looks fresh.
Today is National Coffee Day! But honestly, isn’t EVERY day coffee day?! Thanks for the opportunity. I LOVE STARBUCKS!
