New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016 Manicures

It appears that, just like Spring/Summer 2015, NYFW Spring Summer 2016 Manicures have two trends: ultra-nude/barely there/pink/golds or opaque brights/lights. I didn’t bring you any of the ultra-nudes and barely theres because, quite frankly, they are a yawn to look at. I prefer the nude shade but they just don’t make great pictures.

Jenny Packham’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection with earthy, ethereal vibe was highlighted when Rita Remark for essie, the brand’s new Global Lead Educator, chose this nail look: a standout bright blue to add an element of fun. essie nail products used: first base base coat, butler please, good to go top coat
Rebecca Minkoff, fashion designer and essie’s Global Color Designer, chose “lucite sunset” for her main mainicure design for her Spring Summer 2016 Manicures look. This trend was directly inspired by the chunky Lucite heels found throughout the Spring/Summer 2016 footwear collection. essie nail products used: first base base coat, tarte deco, beach bum blu, midnight cami, gel setter top coat
Taking inspiration from Sophie Theallet’s African themed Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Julie Kandalec for essie created a modern crocodile nail design with shades licorice and leggy legend.
Veronica Beard took inspiration from Miami Beach in the 1970’s for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection. To pair with the “baked out” color palette, Glamsquad for essie created a statement half moon nail look by using clambake, a creamy red-orange, on the tip of the nail.

I like the Essie colors. I usually stick towards blues and teals because it’s different and I like it.
I just love the look of the ‘Rouge Louboutin’ Nail Colour not that I could ever afford it 🙂
I love Christian Louboutin ‘Scarabée’ Nail Colour (Limited Edition) because it’s so fancy.
I like ‘La Laque Couture’ Nail Lacquer because it’s got great colors

Essie Berry Naughty is the nice wine color for fall that I am seeing everywhere
I like the Essie Nail Polish – Whites. I like them because it looks nice.
There are so many beautiful colors but my favorite color is “Roar” . I have red hair and fair skin and this color would be nice with my coloring.
The Dior ‘Vernis’ Gel Shine & Long Wear Nail Lacquer in Purple Rock inspires me to try delicious Fall recipes because it reminds me of Fall dishes.
I am inspired by the butter LONDON ‘Nearly Nude’ (Limited Edition) set because the colors remind me of Fall.
I love the Christian Louboutin ‘SCARABEE” nail colors for fall. The beautiful pink/gold combination I think would go great with the rich fall colors in clothing.
Deborah Lippmann ‘Genie in a Bottle’ would rub me the right way
I love the ‘Genie in a Bottle’ Illuminating Nail Tone Perfector Base Coat. It’s a light purple color and purple is my favorite color.

I’m a nail polish lover so I’m finding their Essie After School Boy Blazer shade to be gorgeous for Fall. It’s a deep blue and just so pretty!
I like The Pops’ Nail Colour Lova color, reminds me of something my mother would wear
I like Estee Lauder in Nudite! It’s a great neutral color that will look awesome anytime! 🙂
