Kohl’s just brought out the Elie Tahari for DesigNation line. With iconic cityscape prints and a cosmopolitan color palette, the Elie Tahari for DesigNation collection captures the fresh, unabashed attitude of the city that never sleeps. They sent me along a few pieces to feature. I think you will enjoy this video where Elie Tahari discusses his design philosophy for the collection.
While this line is featured on a younger crowd in the video, I think it translates well across age groups.

I wore this outfit when I went with my 4 sister-in-laws for lunch at Buon Gusto in Brighton, MI. A lady in the restaurant came over, out of the blue, and asked me where I got my jacket. I let her try it on and she turned to her mom and said, “We’re going to Kohl’s after lunch.” Another cute story about this outfit, I asked in a facebook blogging group for a little photo help with the main photo for this post. The blogger who helped me fix my issue, loved the dress so much she went out that night and bought it for herself!

Dear Chief Blonde: This is the best I’ve ever seen you look, and you generally look fabulous. I’m in LOVE with this skirt and its pleated print. It makes the city look like a mirage yet multi-dimensional, ephemeral yet funky. Elie Tahari is a designer to watch!
