Nude for Fall! Fall Manicures

September 21, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 112 Comments

Wait did I say nude?

Nude for Fall Fall Manicures Nude Manicures    The Chief Blonde is wearing Crab Tree and Evelyn Mocha Nail Lacquer ($6), Gold Double Happiness Necklace (gift from friend, similar) and O-ring Gold Heart Ring (bought in Zurich Switzerland, similar).

I hate applying my own nail polish, do you?

It’s not that I hate nail polish application, it’s just that I am such a spaz. I am the messiest person in the world and it seems that my skin gets more nail polish on it then my finger tips. BUT…guess what I discoverd? I was sent these lovely nude shades from Crabtree &Evelyn. They not only stay on a long time, but also apply easily. With them being nude shades, even my tiny little mess-ups are very hard to see.  BONUS! Nude for Fall Fall Manicures Nude Manicures My favorite of the four new shades is the Mocha which I have on my nails above. The perfect shade for fall manicures. I like the staying power of the polish (2-3 days with no top or bottom coat.) The Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquers:

  • Reinforces and protects nails
  • Formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalates, formaldehyde or toluene
  • Universal shades that flatter every skin tone

Crabtree & Evelyn Nude for Fall Manicures Crabtree and Evelyn’s New Nude Shades: Alabaster, Mocha, Almond and Peaches and Cream ($6 from Crabtree & Evelyn).

Which is your favorite of the four new shades?  Will you be wearing nudes for your fall manicures?

I like the Peaches & Cream shade and I think nude shades fit right in with fall fashion.

I’ve always loved the pale, nude look when it comes to my polish. So natural and elegant. Just wish I could grow longer nails!

Of the four new shades my favorite is the peaches and cream, it’s definitely a color that I would wear.

I really like the Peaches and Cream shade. It would look really good on my granddaughter too.

Most often I get clear on my nails from the salon, but I may go with a nude shade this next time. I like Peaches and Cream.

I prefer nude shades year round. I prefer to apply it myself and save the money. I go with the paler colors such as the Alabaster shown above. They are more forgiving all the way around.

Love the Almond and peaches and cream! I don’t like wearing bright colors on my fingernails, just my toes, so these colors would fit me perfect!!

I have always liked nude colors on my nails. I am a nail picker and I think nude draws less attention to my nails. Recently, I stopped, but after the fire I started again. Hope to be able to stop again soon. If I did it once, I can do it again!

I love the Peaches and Cream, but like you I do love the nude shades. I didn’t know that polish there was only $6.00. Thanks for that information and I love the heart ring.

Such a pretty necklace, and I am loving the soft tones of nail polish you have there. Although I probably would add a pop of color , thats just me 🙂

Love nudes for fall but also reds. So relaxing getting a manicure and use to get one every two weeks. My hands would look so nice getting ready for work.

I don’t like applying my own nail polish, either. I don’t wait long enough before moving around, and I smudge it every time. As far as colors, I would choose the Crabtree and Evelyn Alabaster; however, I seem to like nudes better on other people than on my own hands….my pale skin tone perhaps?

I actually like applying my own nail polish and do it about once a week. These shades are quite pretty. I especially like the Peaches and Cream color. So pretty!

I do like the nude for Fall, but I am a person that likes to add a little bit more color, like a burnt orange maybe even a hint of red 🙂

I can’t believe fall is almost here again. I kindof hope this trend comes back. I like the pale colors, especially in light browns. My favorites right now are the almond and the alabaster.
