Nude for Fall! Fall Manicures

September 21, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 112 Comments

Wait did I say nude?

Nude for Fall Fall Manicures Nude Manicures    The Chief Blonde is wearing Crab Tree and Evelyn Mocha Nail Lacquer ($6), Gold Double Happiness Necklace (gift from friend, similar) and O-ring Gold Heart Ring (bought in Zurich Switzerland, similar).

I hate applying my own nail polish, do you?

It’s not that I hate nail polish application, it’s just that I am such a spaz. I am the messiest person in the world and it seems that my skin gets more nail polish on it then my finger tips. BUT…guess what I discoverd? I was sent these lovely nude shades from Crabtree &Evelyn. They not only stay on a long time, but also apply easily. With them being nude shades, even my tiny little mess-ups are very hard to see.  BONUS! Nude for Fall Fall Manicures Nude Manicures My favorite of the four new shades is the Mocha which I have on my nails above. The perfect shade for fall manicures. I like the staying power of the polish (2-3 days with no top or bottom coat.) The Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquers:

  • Reinforces and protects nails
  • Formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalates, formaldehyde or toluene
  • Universal shades that flatter every skin tone

Crabtree & Evelyn Nude for Fall Manicures Crabtree and Evelyn’s New Nude Shades: Alabaster, Mocha, Almond and Peaches and Cream ($6 from Crabtree & Evelyn).

Which is your favorite of the four new shades?  Will you be wearing nudes for your fall manicures?

I just can’t be bothered to do nail polish. Not fun for me.

I love the nudes and earthtones. I also like these shades because they’re classics and really never go out of style.

Of the four shades listed above I like the Peaches and Cream, it’s definitely something I would wear.

I love nude colors and purples. When I’m dressed to go out I wear nudes. When I’m painting my nails with my granddaughter, I like purples. Of course, they don’t look very good because of the way my hands shake now days, but it’s still fun to do.

Nude is my go to color. I think I would like Alabaster best. I really like the nude color with the gold jewelry in this post.

I love the Nude colors for any time of the year! I love all of the colors from Crabtree and Evelyn’s New Nude Shades: Alabaster, Mocha, Almond and Peaches and Cream! I will be trying these out!

I do polish my own nails. I enjoy changing the color often. It’s the drying that’s a pain! Essie has a new topcoat that mimics acrylics and I love it, use it all the time. These colors are a throwback as I remember wearing them in the 60s/70s. My favorite of the four is peaches and cream. I’ve had problems with these light colors, needing MANY coats to cover. What’s your experience with that? Thanks, Kay

I like the Almond and the Peaches and Cream. I don’t like to paint my own nails, but I think I sheer color looks healthy and nice on your nails, especially when short. I like these.

I think this particular nail polish has my name all over it! I once did my toe nails and ended up with nail polish all over my upper thigh. How that happens, I will never know so I understand your nail polish plight >.<

Almond looks great! I personally can’t wear polish for work but would love a fall mani!

I love nude manicures. They are a great everyday look – polished yet natural looking too. I already have a mocha color I love, but the Alabaster would be a perfect addition to my collection.

I really like the Peaches and Cream, I might be bold if I can use a nude with a french manicure. I am so pale, sometimes I wonder how well I can pull it off!

Oh those are pretty colors too. I like the peaches and cream. At least in the pictures. Not sure which I would like best on my nails.

I’m like you, I make a mess if I try to do them myself.

LOL. Yep I saw that. And yes I am getting it. I think it was a gamil thing because that wasn’t the only problem I had. Looks like all is working right again. For now.

I love the mocha and almond shades. I would wear nudes for everyday, but I prefer sparkly colors for going out.

I don’t wear nail polish but when I did I always preferred brights. My hands are so pale that nudes just never looked good. I’m just not a subtle color kind of girl
