NFL Bag Ban, Scottevest = Loophole

October 2, 2013 By Shelley Zurek 467 Comments

Football fans: Scottevest is your way around the NFL bag ban

Blog Note: For this NFL bag ban post, Scottevest provided review samples.

NFL Bag Ban Scottevest

The Chief Blonde tailgates in her many pocketed SCOTTEVEST Chloe Hoodie ($90.00) and Margaux Cargaux Pants ($85), she is also wearing Kid Rock’s “Made in Detroit” t-shirt featuring Bob Seger ($30.00), Shoe Cult Booties by Nasty Gal ($90).

NFL bans bags at games

When you head off to your favorite NFL football game, there is a lot of items that are fun to bring along with you: snacks, binoculars, iPads, blankets, your purse.  Did you know the NFL recently outlawed bags at stadiums? The NFL ban applies to all bags, including purses and backpacks. It requires items to be put into NFL sanctioned “clear bags”  or in clothing pockets.

Scottevest is your loophole to the NFL bag ban

The SCOTTEVEST Chloe Hoodie has 14 pockets, while the Maurgaux Caurgaux pants have 9 pockets

With the NFL outlawing all bags except their NFL approved see through bag, SCOTTEVEST tech enabled clothing appears to compliant alternative.  Because SCOTTEVEST clothing contains up to 37 pockets while remaining style-conscious, it is expected to become the go-to solution for football fans heading to stadiums.

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I am a monster fan of SCOTTEVEST.  As you many of you know, I have reviewed many SCOTTEVEST jackets including the Kelly Jacket (our giveaway for the Spring Fashionista), the Penny Coat, the Molly Jacket , and the Trench was our giveaway for our 2012 October Semi-Annual Fashionista Event.  For this review, I reviewed the Chloe Jacket and featured the Maurgaux Caurgaux pant.

The Chloe hoodie is truly like wearing a teddy bear.  It is so soft and warm, I am not sure I will ever take it off this winter. I’ll be honest with you, I am not a hoodie girl. They usually make me look fat and schlumpy.  Not true of this beauty, it has a sleek fitted look that makes me feel like a coed! I especially adore the thumb holes in the cuff.

This is a hoodie for defeating the NFL ban, so many pockets! I was able to get an umbrella, binoculars, smart phone, dumb phone, sunglasses, USB drive, chargers, snacks, lipstick and gloves in my jacket with looking bulky!

The Maurgaux Caurgaux pants feature:

  • The Margaux Cargaux’s 9 pockets are perfect for carrying your daily essentials or travel necessities!
  • The flattering and versatile design looks great with the stretchy waistband up or folded over for an extra style option
  • Hidden lipstick and cellphone pockets help keep you organized without looking like you have rocks in your cargo pockets
  • Cotton/Spandex® blend is super comfortable, with just enough stretch
  • Drawstring waist to fine tune the fit
  • Machine Washable

I would wear the Lucy Cardigan, because it’s so cute, but it also has pouches and zip pockets which you never see in slinky clothing. Great idea!
