the scenery in this series is gorgeous, a must watch
The scenery is incredible and I love learning of other cultures
This is the first I have heard of this series, so I’m glad that you reviewed it! I think I would like it because it’s fun to get lost in the fantasy of being “a part of” the glamorous setting, and even though it’s fictional, it looks like I could learn some things from history without having to read a dry text book.
I think that it’s cool that it’s based on King Louis XIV.
This show doesn’t appeal to me. It seems boring and i do not care much about Versailles.
The costumes are magnificent.
I like period pieces, and this looks like something the whole family could watch together.
I love historical dramas. I love learning a little bit about history while enjoying the beautiful costumes and architecture. Versailles looks like a really high-quality show.
I love the history behind it and love the costumes, really fascinating!
I think that it sounds interesting because it’s based on a world of untold wealth, power, and passion.
I really love the French costumes
The set, the costumes, and the actors! I love anything Parisienne and this certainly looks like it will not disappointed! Super excited!
What fascinates me the most is learning how people of that different era lived. It is interesting to see how different the times were.
I would love this to be my first wine on sweety sweepstakes.
I love history….European and American (studied it in college and graduate school) so this series really appeals to me (esp the time period of 1600-1700s).
I love historical themed shows and this is one of the better ones
I’ve had a book on Versaille for years, among my art books, and it’s probably my most gorgeous. The idea of seeing those photos come to life and people moving among the settings is really appealing.
OH my..I wish I had this channel! My fave is period and historical series and films.
One of my bff’s just returned from Europe and visiting the palace of Versailles!
It unbelievably gorgeous! Her pictures are exquisite and in perfect condition for the age.
Can you imagine living in the splendor at age 28! Or any age.. Lol
Where love and lust are just a heartbeat away from deceit and betrayal. This story sounds interesting.
What appeals to me the most about this Ovation series is the fun & spicy way that they are portraying historical events. I’ve always been interested in King Louis XIV and that time period, so I would love to watch “Versailes”. I especially like the fashion!
