This is a different time period. I don’t know anything about it so I bet the storylines are interesting and very character-driven. What beautiful clothes, too!

I have always been fascinated with that time period. I love watching anything that has accents, old world clothing, the way they talked was so sophisticated. Sometimes its like a different realm. Power, beauty, etc. I could watch it everyday.

I like that I don’t recognize anyone in the cast. I get so tired of the same people in everything and I am not sure why shows don’t go with unknowns more often!

Palace intrigue and scandalous love affairs are always interesting, but the magnificence of the palace itself really attracts me.
