Monroe and Main Review Fit for you guide The Chief Blonde is wearing: First photo, Monroe and Main Sateen Dot Jacket (On sale for $54.95),  Camisole (Loft), Black Jeans (J. De-emphasize your Bust with Monroe and Main Fit for You Guide

Monroe and Main wants to help Women over 45 (and all our younger friends)  deal with their problem body  areas.  Each week they have chosen two bloggers to showcase styles from their helpful Fit for You Guide, which address their trouble zone.  The four categories of Shape Solutions that you will see from Monroe and Main bloggers during October are:

  • Hide Hips and Add Height
  • Short-Waisted
  • Camoflauge Mid-Section
  • De-emphasize Bust
I have been chosen along with Brianna D. over at Baubles, Accoutrements, and Garb for the “De-emphasize Bust” Style Solution (Shocking I KNOW!)  Let me show you how I chose my Style Solution while using the Monroe and Main Fit for You Guide.
When you go to the Monroe and Main Fit for you Guide
Monroe and Main Fit for YOU guide
You will see a detailed guide on how to take your measurements.  From there, click the Second tab at the top labeled “Shape Solutions”.
Monroe and Main Fit for YOU guide
On the Shape Solution Page you choose the Shape Solution that fits your issues.  That will take you to a page which shows outfits for working with your shape and make it as lovely as you feel! I chose “De-emphasize your bust” (Duh!)
Monroe and Main Fit for YOU guide
Once I was on the Looks and Tips to De-emphasize Bust, I could see styles and solutions that help minimize my bustline and at the bottom I could choose the kind of styles that Monroe and Main suggests that would work for my Body Type!  Wahoo…That was fun!  Here’s how I  styled the two looks I choose.

still Blonde after all these YEARS The Chief Blonde Remarks:  Both of these Looks were fantastic.  Don’t you think?  I couldn’t believe how all the clothes fit me to a “T”!  I always have so much trouble with my “Rack” and trying to fit the “Bottom” and the “Top”!  So fun to be able to zip up zippers and button up buttons and have the clothes not gap or stretch!  I adored the suggestions provided to me by Monroe and Main’s  Fit for You Guide.  I was surprised that they even included sale clothing in their suggestions so I could maximize my dollar!  The clothes were of lovely quality.  I feel Monroe and Main really lives up to their tagline which is “Fashion Fit for You”.

This site seems pretty kick @ss! Although big bust is not an issue (one can only hope!) I have more of pear shape. Slimming hips with an A line is a great suggestion.

Exotic Maxi Dress would have to be my choice. I’m not a big dress fan, and when I do wear one, I want it to be comfy and flowing.
