The Chief Blonde Remarks: I had a chance to interview Marla Wynne, the creator of this fantastic necklace that two lucky winners can take home. She said that when they were deciding whether to market the necklace, she wanted to and the Rep did not. Marla said to the Rep “Let’s go for a walk in town, if no one stops me and compliments me on my necklace then YOU WIN–and we won’t market the necklace”. GUESS What? Marla laughingly noted that the first person stopped her within 5 minutes and not only complimented her necklace but wanted to know where it could be bought! This is just one of the fantastic stories that Marla has about the collection that she has designed for HSN.
I watched her introduction show on HSN and was really shocked how much I liked the line. It so wearable and cross generational. The entire introductory stock sold out during the one hour segment. I think the hosts were even shocked at how quickly the pieces flew off the racks. The pieces are so versatile, women spotted that versatility right away and wanted that for themselves. For example, did you realize the necklace can also be worn as a belt? With the flexibility of the silver and gold colors of this piece and the ability to wear as a necklace or a belt, it might just be the only piece of jewelry you need to take with you on a quick weekend trip! I love the MarlaWynne Crepe Basic Pants because they remind me of my favorite pants of Chico’s that they actually don’t make anymore! I shouldn’t admit this but most of the pants I wear to my office job have elastic waists because I find everything else terribly uncomfortable!
