Crochet or Lace Beach Coverups …Perfect for a Sunny Day!
I just love summer. When I think of a place or word that instantly makes me happy, sun or summer are always in the forefront. Sunny places and summertime involve flipflops, floppy hats and beach coverups! My favorites are always lace or crochet due to the breeze they let through. Here’s my recommendations from various stores I adore.

Nordstrom is a shopper’s dream for Lace Beach Coverups for Women over 45. It has a huge selection at any price point and a wonderful search to find just what you want. It was hard for me to narrow their coverups to just six.

Cute coverups! My favorite is Women’s Apt. 9® Hooded Chevron Crochet Cover-Up – it’d match my zebra bathing suit rather well.
I like the Apt. 9 crochet fringe hem cover up because it’s longer than some of the others and because it shrugs on instead of going over the head.
I really like the Women’s Portocruz Printed Macrame-Back Cover-Up. Not only does it look comfy and fashionable, but right now it’s 50% off!
I like the Women’s Pink Envelope Geometric Chiffon Cover-Up. It’s a beautiful fabric that fits my style perfectly. I also love the flowy shape and sheerness of the fabric
I really like the Women’s Free Country Hooded Stripe Cover-Up in aqua. It would work with flip flops to run into the store if you needed to.
I like the Plus Size Beach Scene Sanibel Terry Hooded Cover-Up because it’s modest for plus size gals and because it has a hood to absorb water from hair.
I like the Women’s Portocruz Printed Babydoll Cover-Up in Aqua White. I think it’s pretty and looks comfortable.

I live in Florida and I prefer rash guards to cover ups because I want to extra sun protection when I am in the water as well as out of it, so I would get the Women’s Speedo Raglan Rash Guard in White. I like that it has long sleeves, but since it is white it won’t be as hot as the black one.
I would want to get the Beach Scene Bonita Crochet Tunic Cover-Up for my teenage daughter. I know that she would love the styling of this one and it is just adorable but cool and breezy looking.
