I was hoping to make a video of all my favorites, but it didn’t happen. So instead, I’ll will just show you my favorite products/fashions/etc. for January via this blog post. Let me know in the comments if you like the feature or would rather I make a video. All items this month are unsponsored, but I will always tell you when they are sponsored. This month my focus is Wardrobe Investment Basics.
The Wardrobe Basic Sunglasses
If you are going to invest in one pair of pricey sunglasses, buy a pair of Ray-ban Wayfarers. These glasses are uber-cool, retro and never wrong. Left to right: Ray-Ban Original Wayfarers ($155 via ) and Ray-Ban Outsiders Oversized Wayfarers ($155 via )
The Wardrobe Basic Black Boots
If you head to NYC this season, you will see these Stuart Weitzman over the knee boot everywhere. ($635 via ). You have to try on a pair of Hunter Rain boots just one time to understand why these rain boots are superior in every way to the cheap ones. ($158 via ). These days everyone needs a short black bootie, these British inspired moto-vibed boot Rocket Dog Camilla ($69 via) will be smashing with your favorite moto-jacket and leggings or paired with a edgy skirt.

I am not a huge purse fan. That’s why you’ll almost always see me carrying this tote from Michael Kors. It’s elegant, has pockets and goes with everything. With only one purse, I have more money to spend on shoes. YEAH! ( $295 via Shopbop)

I like blondes
I think it should be a combo blog and video post which you should do weekly. i would like posts about fashion and beauty.
Since it is a fairly safe bet to say that we are all fond of shoes, I would like to see reviews of the websites like justfab.com and others like it. I’ve only tried justfab itself and was less than enthused with the experience.
I’d say monthly. You’re really busy to do 2 a month. I’d like to see one on dogs.
I think a monthly blog post on beauty deals, like subscription boxes, would be great
I think its a great idea! A combination of blog posts and/or videos would be great! I love to see posts/videos on hair styles, makeup techniques and household things too!
I suggest a monthly video post that highlights your favorites. Would love to see posts on the latest non-toxic cleaning products, and clothing made from natural fibers.
I think a weekly blog on fashion would be a good idea.
I would love to see a video & blog post or combo on how to do makeup and skin care for forty somethings! I would love to see the combo because this topic would be best to see in a tutorial form!
how to keep peace between siblings
I love good shoes so how about giving away shoes like good sneakers that would be nice.
I would like posts on fashion – specifically accessories (purses, wallets, scarves, jewelry, etc.) I think a blog/video combo would be good, especially if you were able to show off things like purses so we could see the insides of them. 🙂
I need a pocketbook so bad.
I would love to see it weekly with updates on the latest fashion, make up.
id like to see different hair styles with older women and clothing styles for older women,,ill be 60 this year and dont want to look like a kid
I’m a reader and still haven’t warmed up to YouTube and vimeo, vine, etc. I suppose they are efficient for a younger audience, and I understand .
for me a video helps explain things
Weekly combo. That’s what I think, I mostly am interested in blog, so maybe bi-weekly for that and weekly for video. I love cooking, crafts, giveaways, and such.
I think weekly is a good cadence for this. Maybe current fashion or seasonal trends.
I am thinking of doing a monthly/weekly blog post/video on my favorites.
How often should I post? once or twice a week
Should it be a video or blog post or combo? That should be your choice. Videos now and then are fun.
What topic(s) would you like to me to cover?
I like events and activities and products. your opinions.
