Wrap up and get out for spring with Janska.
A beautiful Sunday! Janska’s first ambassador, Shelley Zurek, the Chief Blonde, was provided this Janska Gilda Vest in Teal ($119) and the Janska signature LapWrap in Black ($65). She is also wearing: 1st photo: Carissa Rose Shirt dress (), Michael Kors Multi-functional Tote (), Carlos Santa booties from Monroe and Main (similar). 2nd Photo, also wearing: J.Crew Jean shirt (), Daisy Skinny jeans from Sam’s Club, Sam Edelman over the knee boots ().
Mother’s day is almost here!
It seems like whenever Walt and I head home from church, we have a gorgeous sunny day. We often stop by our local nursery, as they have the only plants around that are in bloom. I love going there because it makes me so anxious for spring. I can’t wait to get my Mother’s Day flowers. This Gilda vest looked so pretty with my black dress and kept me warm as I dashed from the car.
As the day warmed up, I continued reading , which delves into a summer in the lives of M.F.K. Fisher, Julia Child, and James Beard. I LOVE JULIA! As I hung out on the back veranda, I wore the Janska LapWrap to give me that little extra warmth. You can see that we have no leaves on our trees yet in Michigan.
The Janksa Gilda vest is such a fun surprising article of clothing. It looks great with a dress (as I wear it above) but also just as marvelous with leggings or jeans as shown on the model above. I am convinced it will be a wardrobe staple as I love the mid thigh length. I can see this being perfect for a spring soccer game, a summer concert, a fall arts and craft fair or a holiday party. Don’t you love pieces that take you through all the seasons?
The LapWrap is the original article of clothing that inspired the entire Janska line. Jan originally designed the wrap to be both a coat and a lap blanket for her dear elderly friend who couldn’t deal anymore with all the buttons and arm holes of a regular jacket. But when Jan took this piece to a tradeshow, boutiques started snapping it up for their clients of all ages.
The LapWrap is not only multi-generational but also unisex. I sure wish I would have had this item earlier…when my mom got sick she had such a tough time getting her arms into her coat. This wrap would have pleased her so much and kept her warm too! I can see myself wearing the LapWrap around the house in place of a sweater or out at night over a sundress or a more formal dress.

The Artisan Vest would be great for my mom because she easily gets cold.
I love the style and look of the Boulder Coat. It is just what I tend to go for and something I would wear all of the time when the weather was on the cooler side.
I would love to own Annie’s Wrap! Beautiful design and I could dress it up for church or wear it on fun outings
Gilda vest for the color
I like the lap wrap because can be used a shawl or as a lap blanket.
I’d love to get the Tacoma Jacket in the Grape color. Purple is my fave color, but I don’t have a purple jacket. And this one is so fashionable, and yet so practical…could wear it everywhere!
I love the Madison Coat. Only problem though is that I would want it in every color!
I would love to get one of the headbands and a ruffle scarf. The headband would especially adorable on my oldest granddaughter!
I’d love to win the Boulder Coat – so pretty and just my style.
I would love to have the Boulder Coat! It is the perfect light coat that is classy enough to wear someplace fancy but casual enough to dress up a pair of jeans and wear to the mall!
I love the Tacoma Jacket in purple cuz it’s my favorite color.
I like the Patty Cape because the poncho I have is very unstylish.
Thanks for the contest.
I would love to have the charli jacket. It is ideal for the spring cool nights and rainy weather.
I love the boulder coat in coal!
I think my mom would like the Maya Coat
I like all of their products. I would love to have the Patty-Cape Sleeved Poncho but it’s out of stock so I would choose the Moxie Coat. I think these would repel rain which is the only time I would use them during our warm months but would wear them tons during the cold months.
I would choose Roxie Jacket in Polka Dotm It would be perfect for brisk walk.
I ;like Hadley jacket.
I would love the Cascade vest because it looks like its perfectly my style!
Reader’s Wrap look nice
