In-Vest-ment Style! Making the most of the pieces you have
Post a style or follow the Verizon Voices Fashionista Style Hop!
This Verizon Voices Fashionista Style Hop is presented in conjunction with my participation in the Verizon Voices Boomer program and I have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product. Stop by every Tuesday for all the fashion fun! WinterSilks clothing provided for review.
One Silk Vest! Two Accessories! Three Different Looks!
The Chief Blonde is wearing WinterSilks Pure Silk Sweater Vest ($50), Plaza Pug boots by Clark from Monroe and Main ($200), black shirt Sam’s Club, vintage belt ($.25 rummage sale find) (similar), vintage pin ($3 rummage sale find), black jeggings (Mossimo from Target)(similar), Stainless Steel Fumble Bee Cuff Bangle($89)
How to maximize your IN-VEST-MENTS
You can take a high quality basic, like this gorgeous silk vest from WinterSilks, and easily transform it with simple accessories. Here I wear the vest alone, with a belt and then with a vintage broach. A scarf worn at the neck or waist would have a similar transformational effect.
Don’t Miss the Fall Fashionista Event thru Oct. 9, 2013
Make sure to enter to win a $125 WinterSilks gift card and participate in the Fall Fashionista Events that are going on right now until Oct. 9, 2013. You will find $26,000+ in prizes, 101 participating bloggers and all the gift certificates, shoes, purses and clothing that you could EVER want. It’s a twice a year event that you DON’T WANT TO MISS!
Samsung Galaxy Smart Camera
All pictures were taken with my Samsung Galaxy Camera from Verizon. Walt and I just buzz out to the front yard and take a few pictures. By the time I am back inside, the pictures have all uploaded to a private album on G+ and I can download to my computer and edit! It’s fantastic. No wires, no pictures that I don’t need. That’s the advantage of a connected smart camera!

Hi Shelley, that’s a cute vest in a nice color. I love this color on blondes. Fun to see it worn in different ways. It looks great with your boots and good fitting jeans. Pretty detail on the neckline of your top. Have a great week!

Thanks Whitney! YOu are so sweet! Shelley
You’re so clever! I love the idea of reinventing a piece by adding just a few accessories. The fact that you got three looks with very little money is an added bonus; brava! 😉
