For today’s discussion on “Investing in the Holidays”, I am working with Appleseed’s, a women’s clothing company that exudes timeless feminine New England fashion with a modern twist. All opinions are my own.
1 Vest + 6 Holiday Tops = Investing in the Holidays
Choosing clothes for the holidays is absolutely one of my favorite fashion activities. There are so many sparkly, glittery and metallic choices…it just brings out my high wattage personality. However, many times during the holidays, you are traveling or moving fast, so figuring out your outfit and all the accessories can be nothing short of complicated. This year I am centering my holiday outfits around this one quality Quilted Black Vest from Appleseed’s. I find it so adaptable from casual to dressy styles (plus it’s nice and warm!) I teamed the vest with 6 gorgeous Appleseed’s holiday tops.

#1 Bows and White
I love white pants for the holidays. It feels like I am breaking the rules (“Don’t wear white after Labor Day”) and still sticking to the holiday theme. The Appleseed’s Bow Sweater paired with the Quilted Vest says “Timeless with a modern twist”.
#2 Sassy Plaid
Didn’t I hit it out of the park with this look? I never thought to pair American classic plaid and black lace like this! It was fun to then pick up the gold highlight in this Ivory Stewart Plaid Shirt as the accent color. I love how it turned out with the quilted vest pairing.
#3 Bold Gold
This Metallic Dot Stripe Tee feeds right into my passion for gold and metals. I love how the quilted tee serves to tone down this bold look and keep it approachable.
#4 New England Heritage Classic
Appleseed’s has been providing classic, high-quality apparel for women across the United States for more than 70 years. This outfit captures that feel with a classic holiday Red Cotton Cable Yoke Sweater paired with the quilted vest. I gave this American classic a twist with a shorter houndstooth skirt and some metallic silver oxford pumps.
#5 Rocker Chick Black
I admit, when I travel, I love to pack all black and a few blingy accessories. The pairing of this Coastal Cotton Scoop Tee with the quilted vest along with a leather jacket, chunky double strap belt and edgy boots makes this traveling girl a hit at any holiday party!
#6 Fair Isle Flair
For my final quilted vest look, I paired this gorgeous (but lightweight) Fair Isle Yoke sweater with fancy metallic pewter shoes and a flingy skirt. I love how the whole outfit says “Classic is ageless” but it’s adaptable too!

I have a similar vest that I have had for years in dark navy and I find myself wearing it a lot with all kinds of outfits, it is so versatile. I like how you styled yours, it’s cute.
