American Tall Designed for Slim & Tall Men 6’3″ – 7’1″
American Tall sent Walt a few pieces from their new clothing line to check out. Walt is wearing the D2N pants in Black ($80) and the the Oskar Dress Shirt in Black and Blue Plaid ($65).
My handsome 6′ 6″ husband Walt often struggles finding clothes. You see, he is tall and slim (a basketball build). But the available tall men clothes often get big in the girth as the sizes go up and Walt just swims in the off-the-rack clothing that’s out there for him.
American Tall is a new online store for men who are tall and slim 6′ 3″– 7′ 1″. Their clothing is not for the BIG and tall but the slim and tall…tall but not overweight. Finally, tall slim men who workout and are not overweight can find tailored designs that fit well. I know from trying to shop for Walt for years that big, boxy, poor-fitting clothes in the Big and Tall stores just don’t work for him.
American Tall has heard my plea! Walt can finally wear clothes that look up-to-date! When he tried on the American Tall clothing for the first time, I said to him, “Wow, you look so fit!” I think it was one of the first times he had on clothes that fit his slim athletic build!
Walt has a 6′ 3″ brother, a 6′ 7″ nephew, a 6′ 4′ nephew, and a 6′ 3″ brother-in-law. One of Walt’s best friends is 6′ 7″. Each of them are tall & slim men. All of them struggle to find clothes that fit and are fashion forward. You can bet I am going to pass on to them (and their wives and mothers) that American Tall has well tailored clothes for tall & slim men!

When I saw the clothes from American Tall I almost had to struggle to contain my excitement! Finally, a line of clothes that let the world see Walt like I see him–handsome and fit! The dress shirt Walt was sent (Oskar Dress Shirt) is made from fine cotton with a touch of spandex, this shirt drapes beautifully and stretches in just the right places.
The the D2N pants surprised both of us. We thought the nylon material would be odd, but once Walt put them on we both changed our minds quickly. Walt thought they fit great, were very comfortable and had the give of sweatpants. I thought he looked really HOT in the D2N, he’s never had a pair of dress pants that fit that well.
These D2N pants have a long, slim-straight look with classic 5 pocket-styling, made from 5.5 oz stretch nylon, D2N Pants are extremely comfortable, breathable and fast drying. In addition to everyday wear, these pants are perfect for traveling.
I really want Walt to try the American Tall jeans as well. If you think it’s hard to find him dress clothes that fit, then you can’t even imagine how hard it is to find a great pair of jeans. American Tall’s jeans come in waist sizes 32-40 and 34-38 inseam. Relief for the tall guy!

Boyfriend is always looking for longsleeve tees that don’t shrink after the first wash and leave his wrists and belly showing! So, I’m loving the The Essential Long Sleeve Crew-Neck! It’s okay that it’s only in black for now. Every guy looks good in black!
I like the The Essential Black V-Neck T-Shirt as well as the white one. I love tshirts and a man’s tshirt is even better! With that said, they don’t seem to really like color on that site…a lot of black, white and gray….and not a lot of anything to be honest. I’m wondering if they are a new site.
