How do I cover Bald Spots? Roots? Wouldn’t you love to cover them?
Madison Reed Root Touch-up
Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).
An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.
I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.
The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!
Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage
I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result. It covered the gray, lightened up my roots! Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do? This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out. I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time. I highly recommend this product. Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH! Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
The Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

I personally like that it is as simple as brushing on with a makeup brush. It seems to also be good if you sweat so that is a big plus so that I am not running makeup if I get hot during the day
It’s quick and easy and it stays on. This is the first time I’ve seen this. I am going to try it.
Cool!
Love this stuff…great while I’m growing our my gray!
I like that it is Rain, Sweat & Pillow Proof.
I love that it’s instant and long-lasting.
Water & pillow-proof powder that stays put until you shampoo
i like it as a root touch up instead, to cover white that wont go away and comes up much quicker than the rest of the hair. it would help keep my hair healthier with less dyeing
I like the fact that it goes on in seconds.
I like the fact that it goes on instantly
I don’t color my hair and probably won’t ever color it. I happen to like the natural changing of my hair as I grow older. To each their own.
I like that it is water and pillow proof. I really want to try this root touch up out.
I love how fast and easy it looks
I like that it is water-proof and won’t come off when you sweat or on your pillows.
The brush on powder has 7 shades which looks like it would work for a wide range of people. I like the idea of covering roots, although one of the coloring trends is to have darker color at the roots.
I like the fact that each compact is good for up to 60 uses.
It looks very easy to use and washes out easily.
I like that it’s a powder that will go one quickly without having to do a last minute wash-through with the coloring.
I like it but I do not use these normaly Iam sorry!
I won’t be using their product because it contains talc. I stopped using talc in the 90’s.
