How do I cover Bald Spots? Roots? Wouldn’t you love to cover them?
Madison Reed Root Touch-up
Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).
An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.
I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.
The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!
Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage
I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result. It covered the gray, lightened up my roots! Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do? This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out. I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time. I highly recommend this product. Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH! Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
The Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

I love that there are 7 shades of color and it is rain, sweat, and pillow proof.
I like that the product includes hair-fortifying and protecting ingredients
I really need to get this – in Sienna or Terra- as I only like to color my hair 2X a year, because everyone I know who colors their hair a lot is suffering from hair loss… and it really does seem to cover grey roots!
I really like that it is quick and permanent!
I love that it’s rain and sweat proof. Nothing is worse than having color dripping down your face.
I really like how it’s quick, easy to do, and lasts a long time! This comes in handy if you’re busy and always on the go 🙂 Thank you for such a great giveaway!
I want the Ombre root touch up for my grays.
I love that it has 7 different shades to choose from because getting a good match would be best for touching up roots.
I love that they are Ammonia, Resorcinol, and PPD-Free, with No Parabens Added. Better for you!
I like that it’s a Brush on Powder.
I love that it comes in a variety of shades. This is helpful when you have to custom blend the colors to match your hair. I also like that it is not sticky or oily.
I like that the product comes in so many color options (another brand has just two, and does not have blonde).
My hair grows really fast so I have trouble keeping up with my gray roots. This looks like it might be the answer for me. I love that it is quick but also waterproof and pillow-proof since I don’t have a lot of time on my hands.
That its rain, sweat and pillow proof and what really appeals to me is that they say the root touch up is dense which means to me with very thick and coarse hair that it will stay in or absorb.
I am definately quick touch up on the go. I never spend more than five minutes on my hair. If there is a quick fix, it is what i am going to go. If it takes longer than five minutes i loose interest!
AWSEOME
I love that it covers instantly! It also has 7 shades to choose from and I can match my haircolor!
It looks so quick and easy!
I LOVE Madison Reed. Their root touch up just takes a few minutes — less time than it would take me to drive to a salon!
The sun lightens my hair, but when the weather cools and I cant get away for a “retouch” this can keep my look going.
