How do I cover Bald Spots? How to Cover Roots?

How do I cover Bald Spots?  Roots?  Wouldn’t you love to cover them?

How do I cover Bald Spots? How to Cover Roots? Before Inprocess After Mason Reed Root Touch Up

Madison Reed Root Touch-up

Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).

An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.

I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.

The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!

Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage

I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result.  It covered the gray, lightened up my roots!  Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do?  This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out.  I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time.  I highly recommend this product.  Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH!  Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

This is nice. I never saw a touch up that is a spray before. I wonder how easily it washes out, for when you want to color the new growth.

Thanks for all of these tips. I’m unfortunately starting to get more gray hairs. ):

I generally don’t worry much about my grays between appointments, but sometimes I use a similar spray to cover them (e.g., before a job interview). Works great, and is pretty easy to apply (as long as you pay attention to where the nozzle is pointing).

Isn’t Madison Reed the best thing ever? They make such fine stuff. I love the shampoo too.

I have never heard of this brand before. I didn’t know a spray on product would do such a good job.

I have a spot where I lost some of my hair – it’s not visible as long as my hair is cut well. I’m not sure if this product would help, especially since I’m not coloring my graying hair. I am intrigued, though.

Between the Madison Reed root touch-up & the Rita Hazen Root Concealer, it sounds like both these products would more than handle any job. I’ve noticed a lot of gray on one side due to stress and don’t always have time to do a full dye job. Thanks for the review, I will be looking into these 🙂
