How do I cover Bald Spots? How to Cover Roots?

How do I cover Bald Spots?  Roots?  Wouldn’t you love to cover them?

How do I cover Bald Spots? How to Cover Roots? Before Inprocess After Mason Reed Root Touch Up

Madison Reed Root Touch-up

Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).

An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.

I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.

The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!

Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage

I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result.  It covered the gray, lightened up my roots!  Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do?  This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out.  I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time.  I highly recommend this product.  Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH!  Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

I sometimes use a spray product the last week before I go for a touch-up; fortunately, I haven’t had to worry about bald spots. My condolences on the loss of your mother.

I think this is an essential tool for in between salon visits. I love sun-lit brown. Sabbia and Terra mix maybe; can you mix??

I’d have to use a whole product to cover all my gray. But I don’t intend to. I earned all my gray hairs.

I have dyed my hair since I was a teenager but now that the gray hairs are appearing, I can’t seem to keep up with them! I dye my hair and a week later I see more gray hairs so this might be just what I’m looking for. Thanks for sharing, I can’t wait to give it try!

This looks awesome! I need the root coverup! As a busy mom it’s just impossible to get to the salon every six weeks like I should. I like that the formula adds some thickness, too! I can’t wait to get this!

This sounds like a good product. It isn’t healthy to do your roots too often, this is a good way to limit how often you do roots for convenience, budget or health!

My hair stylist would love this and my pocket book would too. I freak out when I see my gray hair come back so quickly. I know it will come but I haven’t accepted it yet. Not a bad price considering what I pay for color and treatments.

Thanks for sharing this info. I’ve been wanting something to use on my hair to cover my roots in between salon visits as my hair grows so fast.

Thanks for the information. My hair is thinning plus I had surgery that left a scar, so I could really use something to cover.
