It’s sometimes hard to understand where a particular obsession started. But I know just wear my jewelry obsession began. My mom left me at my neighbor’s house for an afternoon and “Aunt Viola” as we called her, had a crazy huge jewelry collection (like boxes and boxes). So Aunt Viola decided that we would spend the afternoon sifting through her treasures and sorting them out. Yep, that’s where it all began…
Oh wow, how much fun did I have (and you will have too) browsing the Cookie Lee holiday collection. It was like I was back at my Aunt Viola’s all over again. Cookie Lee has beautiful statement necklaces and gorgeous bracelets and earrings to coordinate. What I like is the suggested pairings on the site are not “Matchy Matchy”. Instead, it’s more of a “I collected these pieces over a period of time”. You can see how timeless these Cookie Lee pieces are.
I think you will also find the prices quite amazing for pieces of this caliber. When I was out shoppig the other day, I actually saw a Tiffany bracelet from Paloma Picasso priced at $1150 which reminded me of the gorgeous Cookie Lee Ivy Bracelet which costs just $29!

The hats are equally gorgeous.
Antique millinery has always interested me, so I know I would love this book. In fact, I even found some beautiful old millinery flowers for hats!
I like that the book is coffee table size with lots of pictures so that we can see the creations.
I loved the reviews. This one especially peaked my interest –
“An essential guide on the most indispensable fashion item of the mid-twentieth century.” (The Arts by Karena.

I LOVE the BOHO GLAM TURQUOISE NECKLACE!!! It is super cute and dressy looking. This would look so pretty with a bunch of different outfits and turquoise is my favorite color too! Thanks for doing the great giveaway!!! 🙂
I am not a hat person, so the fact that an entire book is dedicated to the topic is interesting. I might skim through it if I saw it on a table somewhere.
I like that it is a biography. I like reading about the lives of successful and talented individuals.
I love their Star Studded Occasion Earrings (#19111). Love the sparkle. As for the book, I’d like to see the photos. Kind of a fashion history buff.

I love that this book is about Madame Paulette, Paris’s “queen of milliners.” This look at an extraordinary hat designer would be an interesting read. I bet the life this woman led would be fascinating.
Madame Paulette must have been an interesting woman. I love hats, and I like that she designed hats for My Fair Lady,as well as for many famous people. The photos in the book must be gorgeous.
The book tells of the stars who wore the hats. I have always wished they would bring back hats; they are so stylish.
