I love to shop! Oh yes, I do! But during the holiday, I don’t like scrambling to find the perfect gifts for my loved ones. I have resolved to take a different approach this year. I am going to be using AARP Member Advantages where I can save money and get presents for all the different people on my list by shopping at AARPAdvantages.com.
Come shopping with me and AARP Member Advantages to see the savings you can find…
Finding the deal and the gift!
Head over to the AARP Member Advantages Holiday website. There you will see customized deals categorized by weekly deals, shopping, and entertainment/dining. As an AARP member, I discovered deals, offers and gifts that will work for everyone on my list! To Note: The deals are always updated and changing, with new retailers/offers being added all the time so check back frequently.
For Walt: Many of you already know that Walt loves searching his genealogy. He is a long time subscriber to Ancestry. Any time I can get a deal on his Ancestry membership, I jump on it but especially near Christmas. I found this 30% off deal under the shopping tab, a great gift for first time users.
For My Daughter: Kelly works long hours. However, she still likes to eat healthy. It’s hard to shop, cook, and eat well with NO TIME. On the AARPAdvantages.com I found her a present under the WEEKLY DEAL tab for Blue Apron Home delivery food service for $30 off her first order
For My Sons: All 3 of my boys love movies. Natural stocking stuffers for them are movie passes. Under the Shopping Deals Tab, I was able to find movie tickers at Regal Entertainment Group Movie tickets at 25% off and I can print the tickets right after I buy them.
This is just a sampling of the steals/deals you can get at the

“Take the Stress Out” Hack!
While AARP Member Advantages does offer local deals for brick and mortar stores, my holiday “Take the Stress out” hack is to buy everything online through their site. I get savings and don’t have to deal with traffic, crowds, or hours of operation. A lot of people over 45 are hesitant to shop online. However, once the delivery man shows up with all your gifts (or better yet delivers them to the recipient’s home), you will be thrilled you employed this hack.
Psst! Not an AARP member yet? It’s simple to sign up. With membership at just $16 a year, AARP Member Advantages offers a variety of great discounts and services, in addition to shopping including travel, dining and entertainment offers. Check out AARPAdvantages.com for more information.
What a big help the site is to you! I really like that they update and change. Deals are all around us; it’s nice to have another site to go to.
(I bet your kids are going to love their gifts….can’t wait to see what you get.)
This makes me more likely to renew my membership.
I love a discount or coupon to help with the purchasing budget! Good to know!
I just joined AARP & my hubby has been a member for years-I like knowing more ways to save w/ AARP! Thanks!
I love that you can buy movie tickets at a discount from AARP. The prices keep going up and it’s no longer an inexpensive family activity.
Love your site.

These are great savings – I did not know about the Blue Apron option.

I haven’t done this yet but your post has convinced me to try them out. Thanks — and happy holidays!
I need to renew my AARP membership. Had it for a couple of years and then stopped. I didn’t know about this benefit.
I was not aware of this perk. Even though I am not old enough to be a member yet–not far behind, though–I plan on letting a few of my shopaholic friends about this. Thank you for sharing!
I have been getting aarp offers in my mail but have never checked into it..It looks like I should.
AARP does have a lot of great deals, we use them often.
I have heard a lot about them, we have AAA and thought they did the same thing. I need to take another look at them. Thank you for sharing.
