Hersheys Camp Bondfire –Smores Fun

Hershey’s Smores–some Double Decker YUM!

The Chief Blonde Remarks: At Blogher 12, I attended the Hershey’s Camp Bondfire Suite. While there, we cooked smores over mini-open flamed fires and hung out in a room (on the 40th floor on the Hilton NYC) decorated like a campground. It was truly, the “sweetest” suite at the conference. Hershey’s and Walmart have teamed-up to help your family create sweet memories this summer especially when it comes to cookouts! As you know, Walmart is your one-stop-shop for all of your cook-out needs – including ingredients for everyone’s favorite summer time treat – S’mores! S’mores are made with Hershey’s milk chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows.

We made smores with my kids and in-laws on our last road trip.
Sitting around the campfire with my own three young children and my husband at a family reunion in the mountains of PA…..counted my blessings, family, love and s’mores. What more can a girl ask for………?!
My favorite was making my marshmellow “flame” so it ended up black on the outside and really soft and runny on the inside so it covered the chocolate and Graham crackers as you smooshed it all together . Everybody would always go – ewwwww until they tried it.
OK so I was always a little “off”
Favorite memory was going upstate with my dad to a cabin and hanging out for the weekend by the campfire making smores and trying to keep warm 🙂 til this day the smell of burning wood invokes a nostalgic happy feeling.
Before my aunt passed away, she would always look forward to making smores with us. I had so much fun and wonderful memories with her!
Making my very first smore on my very first camping trip with the girl scouts! (and then many years later, doing the same with my daughter!)
First time I ever had them. It was at girl scout camp and everyone made fun cause my marshmallow burned. That is still the way I like em too ;P
I was a Girl scout leader for 6 years. My favorite S’Mores memory was when my troop camped. The girls liked to completely burn their marshmallows to put on a S’more!
making them with my grandkids while camping in the backyard
The first New Year’s Eve after my divorce I had to do my 1st fireworks for the kids and nothing worked right! My daughter got hit by a firework, the dog took off with one and burnt off her whiskers, and half the expensive ones were duds. Afterwards when the kids went inside they were surprised to find s’mores and hot chocolate waiting. Future years we kept that as our own tradition and skipped the fireworks!
when we took our son to Cornell, the last night we camped and made smores on the camp fire
My best smores memory was girl scout camp!
sitting by the campfire with family.
We made them on the stove when I was little. We didn’t have a grill and we had a gas stove and used the flames to make S’mores! They were delicious and it was a real treat.
My Favorite memory was back in 1965 at girl scout camp, making smores that was my first time! Loved it!
camping in Vermont with my mom & dad, we had campfires every night and made smores all the time. LOVED IT!!
Hanging around a bonfire with my girls and some of their friends – watching them “burn” marshmellows, then stack the ingredients for s’mores and watch them laugh as they try to eat it ….
My husbands and my first date 🙂
We used to go camping all the time as a child, but my favorite memory with my very best friend was making s’mores by burning the marshmallow with our home stove.
my favorite smores memory was making smores with the kids at a cabin we rented in colorado! we had a great time!
