Hersheys Camp Bondfire –Smores Fun

Hershey’s Smores–some Double Decker YUM!

The Chief Blonde Remarks: At Blogher 12, I attended the Hershey’s Camp Bondfire Suite. While there, we cooked smores over mini-open flamed fires and hung out in a room (on the 40th floor on the Hilton NYC) decorated like a campground. It was truly, the “sweetest” suite at the conference. Hershey’s and Walmart have teamed-up to help your family create sweet memories this summer especially when it comes to cookouts! As you know, Walmart is your one-stop-shop for all of your cook-out needs – including ingredients for everyone’s favorite summer time treat – S’mores! S’mores are made with Hershey’s milk chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows.

One summer my daughter had a some friends over and they slept outside and made smores. I think the whole neighborhood was awake with them all night. 🙂
As a kid being with my mom while she was still alive, melting the marshmellow by campfire and lots of fun and laughter!
On Saturday nights in the backyard!

The first time I ever had smores was for girl scouts and they were so good!!
I remember camping with my family when I was about 7. There were 8 kids and my parents so we had a bus that was converted into a camper and my 2 older brothers slept in a tent. We had a big campfire and roasted marshmallows to make smores. My oldest sister played her guitar and we sang songs and told stories. It was amazing.
My favorite s’mores memory is when we took my daughter camping for the first time! It had just gotten dark, and she was so scared to be at the campground…We had decided to make some s’mores in hopes that she would stop being so upset. She was eating a s’more and crying at the same time to go home…I ended up taking her home and missing out on the camping!
my favorite smores memory would be when I had a Hershey’s party at my home and we made smores in the microwave. My three daughters were with me and we shared a lot of laughs.

cooking smores over the fire at our camp
Loved making them at Girl scout camp! 🙂
Believe it or not, I had never had a s’more until we took the kids camping when they were in elementary school…and they were so delicious that I wondered why it took me so long to try one!
My first smore was a church camp. My family didnt camp so I never even knew what it was.
Having a church picnic and once it got dark eating smores with all my fellow churchgoers.
The first time my son had a smore. He was just so amazed that all those yummy things could go together AND he got to put it over a FIRE! Definitely my all time favorite smore moment
I made them over a candle once.
My favorite memory is making smores with my dad and sister and getting the phone call that my oldest sister had just given birth to my first niece, Abigail! Thanks for the giveaway!
my kids and now grandkids tell me it’s not a camping trip without smores
Around the campfire at my husband’s camp with his family.
I remember trying to make smores on our new fire pit. I was trying to get the marshmallows on the sticks that is until the bag caught fire. I then dropped the bag with all the marshmallows except 3 into the fire pit and it was a mess. Suffice it to say, I am not in charge of smore making now.
I rememeber when i was camping a s a child and we were having smores. A bat flew in my hair! I screamed, my mom thought I was just acting up and my dad started swatting my head!! oh yea, fun memories there! lol
We once had my friends over, and we sat around a made smores while listening to music. It was a blast!
