Hersheys Camp Bondfire –Smores Fun

Hershey’s Smores–some Double Decker YUM!

The Chief Blonde Remarks: At Blogher 12, I attended the Hershey’s Camp Bondfire Suite. While there, we cooked smores over mini-open flamed fires and hung out in a room (on the 40th floor on the Hilton NYC) decorated like a campground. It was truly, the “sweetest” suite at the conference. Hershey’s and Walmart have teamed-up to help your family create sweet memories this summer especially when it comes to cookouts! As you know, Walmart is your one-stop-shop for all of your cook-out needs – including ingredients for everyone’s favorite summer time treat – S’mores! S’mores are made with Hershey’s milk chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows.

I don’t have a specific memory, but I recall my dad used to make smores in the microwave (cheating, I know)- out here in So Cal we simply don’t camp much (except on the beach, once in Elementary, no smores though!) Anyhow, we’d always make our smores with dark chocolate and peanut butter, with marshmallow and Golden Grahams, of course!
I lived a sheltered life. it was in 3rd grade, a classmate had a birthday party and her much older sister was a girl scout leader. The sister ran the party and along with a lot of girl scout activities, I learned how much I loved smores.
My favorite S’more memory was finding out that we didn’t need a campfire to make them! We were at our neighbors house she made us some from her gas stove in the kitchen. From then on we would go there twice a month to eat s’mores with her. Loved it!
I remember making smores when camping with my grandparents
making s’mores around the fire pit at my beach house
Making smores while camping with my best friend Tammy and her parents…still go with them sometimes and Tammy & I are in our early 40’s!
I don;t have one! I never ate a smore!
we used to go camping as kids and then we be skinging corn stalk so they could be boiled over cmep fire and h4en when we get it done we had smores all the time old fashin way puthem on two girls
I remember I once hadn’t had any all summer so I cooked marshmallows over a candle in my living room..lol. Not really a great idea…
I remember smores with the neighbor kids at the block party in grade school
Best memory was being in Morris, Illinois with my aunt Darlene and camping out on a Friday night with classic rock and oldies blaring and enjoying the campfire and the company. Haven’t done it in a long while, but would love to do it again soon.
Teaching my niece how to make them in our back yard. She LOVED to “burn” the marshmallows. 😀
My favorite memory was at summer camp around the campfire 🙂
My favorite smores memory is making smores on the bbq in the backyard with my uncle 🙂
making them at Girl Scout camp
my favorite memory of smores was the first time i went camping!
After I was married, my hubby made me my very first smore!
My favorite smores memory is the first time I made smores with my child. She was so excited and she loved them!
When I was young my parents never did camping but usually on 4th of july we would go over to their friends lake have a bonfire and roast marshmellows and make smores.
Once when I was really young I got my marshmallow stuck in my neighbors hair. Not so funny at the time, but was funny later.
