Hersheys Camp BondFire Smores Review

Hersheys Camp Bondfire –Smores Fun

Hershey Smore camp Bondfire

Hershey’s Smores–some Double Decker YUM!

better-late-than-neverstill blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:  At Blogher 12, I attended the Hershey’s Camp Bondfire Suite. While there, we cooked smores over mini-open flamed fires and hung out in a room (on the 40th floor on the Hilton NYC) decorated like a campground.  It was truly, the  “sweetest” suite at the conference.  Hershey’s  and Walmart have  teamed-up  to help your family create sweet memories this summer especially when it comes to cookouts!  As you know, Walmart is  your one-stop-shop for all of your cook-out needs – including ingredients for everyone’s favorite summer time treat – S’mores! S’mores are made with Hershey’s milk chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows.

What Woman Over 45 doesn’t love Hershey’s Chocolate?

I remember having s’mores on an overnight at sleepaway camp. Each age group got to spend the night on an Island in the lake where our camp was and everything we ate we made on the campfire.

Best memory is always that of a burnt marshmallow flying off of the stick…as long as it doesn’t hit anyone! LOL! And the smell of campfires or watching my kids and hubby roast the marshmallows in our fireplace!

This was my favorite suite of the entire convention. First I love Smores. Second there was Hershey’s chocolate involved. Third there were seats for us. And finally everyone there was so incredibly nice. We made our way up there a couple of times and it was like a small party. BTW great pix of you. We have introduced a number of non-American friends to Smores and they all call them “American Dessert Sandwiches” and ask for them every time they visit.

My favorite memory is from last summer. My kids were finally old enough to do most of the work themselves and were very proud!

That would have to be making them in the microwave at work the first time. Other than that, I don’t have any campfire memories regarding s’mores.

This past summer my 3 year old daughter mad smores for the first time. She loved it, and kept getting her marshmallow stuck on the wood.

We would go many summers to my Aunt’s place in Northern California. They lived along the American River. They had this great house that had a big fireplace and there we would roast marshmallows and have s’mores for dessert.

I remember learning to make them at girl scout camp. I was so excited to come home and make them for my family.

Actually this year me and all my friends went to my friends house (her brand new house) and ate smores around her bonfire. We drank some wine, played games, and it was just an all around very nice night. Love it!

…the year we all decided that, for certain people…, the marshmallow lighting up in flames is NOT just because she’s not careful… 😉
