I love to collect! My collection of collections is almost endless. Just a few of the things I collect are hearts, playmobile, office supplies, antique toasters and vintage cake stands. For the holidays, my focus turns to two massive collections. My collection of santas and my collection of nativity scenes. There really isn’t any room for snowmen or bells or sleighs because all my themes center around santa and nativity sets.
Passing on a Passion for Collecting
I have two adorable great nieces. I would love to send them a Christmas gift this year but given that this gift is coming from their Great-Aunt (yes I am THAT OLD), I feel it should be something long lasting and memorable versus just another toy. Because I think the Christmas story is so captivating and also the reason (for me) for the season, I want my great nieces to experience that fun as well.
However, my nieces are not quite two so I know I have to find a set that’s just perfect for small hands, so I set out for my local Hallmark Golden Crown Store. Luckily, my local Hallmark Golden Crown had sent me a brochure of all their newest holiday selections and coupled it with a 30% off one item coupon. Hallmark Gold Crown stores have always been a home for a variety of gifts, greetings cards, décor, gift presentation solutions and more — all of which are designed the make the holidays meaningful and memorable. Once in the store, I was quickly drawn to the itty bitty Line from #Hallmark. Smaller is better: at least when it comes to itty bittys® from Hallmark! These tiny collectables are the perfect stocking stuffer or addition to a greeting card. Look at these cute Peanuts characters from the line. (Most individual itty bittys are $6.95)
Hallmark Itty Bittys Nativity
I immediately zeroed in on the Hallmark itty bittys nativity scene for my nieces. I had a peek of the itty bitty Nativity Set on line at Hallmark.com and I was pretty sure that I wanted that set for my little nieces. I mean HOW CUTE IS THIS?
Little hands will be so excited to set up this pocket-sized Nativity set, featuring a plush angel, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. ($39.95)
The box turns into a manger scene and there is a little elastic so that the angel “flies” overhead in the sky. The set will be so easy for my little nieces to play with over and over each year. I will be able to add other nativity sets over the years but none as precious as this Hallmark itty bittys Nativity set. Watch my video to see itty bittys in action:

Oh! I love this set. Hallmark has so many wonderful products. I bought the Frozen Itty Bittys for my granddaughter, and I love the idea of a Christian nativity scene.

This is so sweet and perfect for the little ones to play with at the holidays. We had glass figures growing up so you could only look at them. I think these are a great gift for the holidays too.

These are so cute – also helps the kids to learn the real meaning of Christmas. We had a big manger set for many years . We couldnt preserve it enough to keep it for our grand kids . Made us sad as it was a beautiful set made of paper mache.
