Can you Say Cannoli, Tiramisu, Panna Cotta?

Graces Sweet life

Grace’s Sweet Life: For that Italian in all of us!

Grace’s Sweet Life is a cookbook of Homemade Italian Desserts.  This will be your go-to book to make all those Italian Desserts that you have always loved and you will discover many more that will complete your dreams (Chocolate Eclairs with Pastry Cream, Sicilian Cannoli, and more!)  With 60 stunning color photos and chapters for Cakes and Cheesecakes, Pies and Tarts, and Creams, Custards, Mousses, and Soufflés, it’ll be hard to decide what sweet treat to make for your celebration, whether it’s a graduation, birthday or holiday.

$17.95, Trade Paperback
ISBN: 978-1-61243-024-9
200 pages, color photographs throughout

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: Grace Massa Langlos is the master mind behind these stunning homemade Italian desserts. I love how she passes on her Italian family traditions with our sweet tooth in mind.  I love how the book has stunning pictures that just jump out at you to showcase the amazing desserts.  My favorite has to be the Stunning Strawberry Bavarian Cream (la crema bavarese), which is a classic chilled dessert.  Grace’s Sweet life never misses a beat as it delightfully presents ingredients, step-by-step instructions and finally some helpful serving notes.  I also love how the ingredients are listed both by weight and volume measures such that anyone from any country can use the book!

Women over 45 will be sure to  love this indulgent little book!

I eat a lot of desserts but I honestly do not know the origin. I thought Tiramisu was french, at least that’s what I remembered from watching Masterchef.

I don’t have a favorite Italian dessert but I will never pass up a yummy strawberry (or chocolate) cheesecake or those molten lava cakes with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream!
