I love how the book has stunning pictures that just jump out at you to showcase the amazing desserts. My favorite has to be the Stunning Strawberry Bavarian Cream (la crema bavarese), which is a classic chilled dessert. Grace’s Sweet life never misses a beat as it delightfully presents ingredients, step-by-step instructions and finally some helpful serving notes. I also love how the ingredients are listed both by weight and volume measures such that anyone from any country can use the book!

There is a tiramasu at a local Italian restaurant that is to die for! We don’t get to go very often – once or twice a year – but it is a planned indulgence!

Don’t really have any favorite Italian but it really depends on the time of year for me. In the fall it is hands down pumpkin pie, in the summer I love Strawberry Shortcake, Spring is Carrot Cake, and Winter is Apple Crisp 🙂
My favorite dessert is called Better Than Sex Cake. Our family version of it is crush pineapple and coconut with custard and cake. It’s so yummy. We also have a homemade from scratch chocolate cake with peanut butter icing that is a second favorite. 🙂
