Walt and I headed over to our local nursery after church this week. Bordine’s Nursery in Clarkston was having their annual Christmas Open House event with 20 decorated trees and 10 decorated mantels. You’ll be seeing a post on that really soon! The Purple Majestic Tree Room was the perfect setting to model this gorgeous sweater and blouse sent to us from Foxcroft’s Holiday Checklist Collection.
A crisp white blouse is the perfect vehicle for under a dramatic sweater and for displaying your statement necklaces.
The sweater is quite warm more like a jacket. It’s styling actually reminded me of the boiled wool jackets I wore when I lived in Switzerland.

I like the high low open cardegan foe I’m heave set and think it would be warm and cover up.
I like the Asymmetric Sweater. The cut helps draw the eye away from problem areas and the colors are great.
I like the Vintage Royal Wrinkle Free Blouse. I just pulled out my winter clothes and was commenting on how ‘solid’ my side of the closet looked. I need some colorful shirts to put under those black, red and brown sweaters! This shirt is perfect, lots of pop! Plus it’s wrinkle free and machine washable – love it!
