Food Network For Kohls: Easter Buffet or Any Day

March 21, 2016 By Shelley Zurek 721 Comments

A Buffet on a Special Day with Food Network for Kohls!

Food Network for Kohls

Kohl’s provided me these lovely items from their Food Network collection to showcase how easy it is to create a lovely buffet.  Items featured: in Turquoise and White ($16.99, Sale. $10.19), ( $19.99, Sale $8.00), ($10.99), ($37.99), ($16.99), Large Fontinella red platter (no longer available).

The menu for the Easter day buffet was Cheddar Apple Stuffed Ebelskivers which are a Danish stuffed puffed pancake. I will be providing the recipe for those in a later post. You can see how the Food Network for Kohls items just make the whole buffet pop.

You can have the most scrumptious food in the world but if you can’t display it nicely…well it only tastes great, it doesn’t look great. The whimsical collection just says “Let’s have some fun!”

A buffet for ANY day…

Food Network for Kohls 2_1

Now we take many of the same items featured in the Easter buffet above but a much simpler grouping for a wonderful weekend breakfast anytime of year. It’s always fun to feature the menu!

There is a lot of good ones but I think my favorite is the Yellow Berry Basket! I have been looking for a pretty, cheery “pop” of yellow to brighten up my kitchen. That would be perfect to set my fruit in!

While I have a couple of Dutch ovens already, they have one issue – they aren’t oven-safe because of plastic handles, etc. I’ve been trying new recipes lately (especially since getting a new stove) and I’m finding a lot that require either cast iron specifically, or needing an oven-proof covered pan. I really want the Food Network™ 5.5-qt. Enameled Cast-Iron Dutch Oven – in blue, to match my kitchen (and because it’s my favorite color).

my fave thing is their magnetic measuring spoon set. i cook and bake a lot and hate plastic measuring spoons, and love stainless. this set is magnetized to nest together in the drawer and thus take up way less space and not make a mess. i had been gifted a set like this, except it was plastic, and i loved the magnetic part and how i could always locate the right size spoon, but then the plastic broke 2 of the them in half so i got rid of them. making this one stainless ensures that wouldn’t be an issue.

That would be those adorable Cows! I saw them at Kohl’s and they are under $10.00. I may have to get one of each color to form my herd. I also love the Chicken.Rooster themed Bowls.

I just bought their flour sack dish towels and I love them. They are the only towels that I dry my dishes with, I love that they are big and absorbant!

The 5 piece magnetic measuring spoon set looks really nice! The numbers won’t rub off and I like that there are two sides on each one for dry or wet measurements.

I’m interested in the Food Network Kitchen Scale. I’ve always wanted to have one and some recipes I’ve seen and wanted to try call for measurements that a scale would be good for.
