My sweetie’s hearing isn’t great so he always has the sound on the TV blaring — then he thinks I’M having problems because I can’t hear him call me from that room over the TV (with surround speakers, no less). I’ve asked him to turn it down a bit unless we’re both actively watching a movie, but it falls on deaf ears (pun intended).

I’m not having hearing issues in my life (yet). But I’ll be sure to have a hearing test some day.
The Miracle Ear genius 2.0 does look like a cool product though.

Sam’s Club has free hearing screenings and my hubby is always trying to get me to do it. But at only 50, I feel like it’s a waste. But as a former speech therapist, I know I should!

Everyone should have their hearing tested, even if only for a baseline score.

This is great information. I find that some sounds are getting harder to hear. So it’s good to know where to go for more testing, etc.

I thought I was losing some of my hearing so I took a test at my medical offices. I think I must have had water in my ear the day I had problems.
