Classic Caramel Iced Coffee Recipe

Make Your Caramel Iced Coffee at Home!

Classic Caramel Iced Coffee Recipe

I am not a big coffee drinker, but I sure do love my fancy frappes and iced capps. Lately, I have discovered how easy it is making caramel iced coffee at home, and how delicious it is! It easily compares to the expensive store-bought drinks. You can turn the drink into a mocha or caramel mocha iced coffee, as well!

Author: Alexzandra O'Donnell
Recipe type: Beverage
Ingredients
  • Your Favorite Brewed Coffee
  • Your Favorite Creamer/ Milk
  • Sugar
  • Ice
  • Caramel Syrup
  • Optional: Chocolate Syrup (if you want to make Mocha Iced Coffee)
Instructions
  1. Brew a pot of your favorite coffee.
  2. Pour the pot of brewed coffee into a pitcher.
  3. Add your desired amount of creamer/milk and sugar. The lighter the color and the more sugar, the sweeter your iced coffee will be, and the closer it will taste to store-bought drinks.
  4. Stir and chill.
  5. To make the drink into a caramel iced coffee, mocha iced coffee, or caramel mocha iced coffee, drizzle caramel or chocolate syrup (or both) all around the inside sides of the cup. This will prevent the syrup from sitting at the bottom of the cup.
  6. Then place ice cubes into cup and then pour chilled coffee over the ice.
  7. Place pitcher of iced coffee in the fridge to keep chilled.

It always surprises me how much money people waste at places like Starbucks when you can easily make your own.

Haven’t had ice coffee in a while. You can freeze actual coffee and use in place of icecube so ice doesn’t dilute it.

I love iced coffee and should try this recipe. Goodness knows it will be much cheaper than my $6 cup in the drive thru every morning.

I just paid over $2.50 each for some bottled iced coffee drinks. With a name brand. And after reading this I realize that I could have made my own , at home, for so much less. Thanks for the reminder.

I like that this is a treat. I even love that you show it in a lovely glass. Makes it more special. And a whole lot cheaper than buying premade iced coffee.
