Canyon Ranch: Yoga for Strength and Energy Review

Canyon Ranch releases Yoga for Strength and Energy

Canyon Ranch Yoga for Strength and Energy

Canyon Ranch Yoga for Strength and Energy ($16.99)

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: WOur giveaway is the  second fitness DVD from the award-winning resort and wellness brand, Canyon Ranch: Yoga for Strength & Energy which debuts on DVD from Acacia on November 20, 2012, featuring two 20-minute yoga workouts to improve your flexibility, lengthen your physique, and invigorate your body.  Women over 45 will adore this medium paced yoga workout.  It’s broken into two 25 minute lessons which work well together (I prefer an hour workout–so this is perfect!).  But when you are in a hurry, the two individual segments are nice.

BRING CANYON RANCH TO YOUR HOME!

For more than 30 years, people have vacationed at Canyon Ranch to enjoy wellness.  Now you can bring the Canyon Ranch into your  home with these energzing workouts created to support life-long health. Yoga for Strength and Energy is filmed at the stunning flagship resort in Tucson, Arizona, the segments are designed to increase your stamina and vitality while you tone your body. A soothing 11-minute cool-down segment is also featured, to renew your spirit, plus a bonus recipe booklet and three bonus segments sharing diet and wellness secrets from the upscale retreat’s experts ($16.99).    I loved just watching Evette (Canyon Ranch’s fitness instructor) working out in the beautiful Arizona Desert.  The setting alone made me feel relaxed. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow.  I did in fact feel that video served to build strength and energy, both important elements for Women over 45.  My husband and I did this video together.  As usual, he finds the workout much for difficult than I do, as he is less flexible.  He enjoyed it as well.

 Workout Options:

  • Energy Stretch (22 minutes)
  • Energetic Yoga Flow (24 minutes)
  • Cool Down (11 minutes)
  •  Bonus Features:
    • Eat for Energy: How to select and prepare foods that enhance your energy throughout the day (14 min.)
    •  Sleep for Energy: How good sleep habits can improve your energy level and productivity (4 min.)
    • Healthy Lifestyle Changes: How to take practical steps towards healthy lifestyle changes (3 min.)
    • 11-minute bonus stretch sequence and recipe insert

This sounds like a fabulous video not only to stretch yourself to the stay in a form of zen.

I would like the Dance and Be Fit: Hip Hop Cardio DVD. I like the Hip Hop beat and that would be something I would definitely have to do in the privacy of my own home.

Yoga for beginners – I’ve tried Yoga once and it was a huge failure. Yoga instructors don’t like it when you laugh through their classes!
