Nakano Rice Vinegar Jazzes Up Your Recipes in a Low Calorie Way

Braised Tomato Chicken with Nakano Rice Vinegar

Low Carb or Low Calorie–Nakano Seasoned Rice Surprises

I made my favorite Low Carb/Low Calorie recipe today but switched up an ingredient.  Instead of Balsamic Vinegar which lends a smokey meaty flavor  to this recipe, I substituted Nakano Seasoned Roasted Garlic Seasoned Rice Vinegar. I had no idea that a one ingredient adjustment could so radically change a recipe.  The Seasoned Rice Vinegar was much lighter and slightly sweeter,  but still provided a full flavored punch.  My darling husband Walt and I just loved the new twist on our favorite recipe and even added it to the potatoes that we served with the recipe.  So much lower calorie than sour cream, with the same tangy taste.

Walt and I  have really embraced the Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar.  We used to use balsamic vinegar quite frequently on our salad, now we are using Nakano Rice Vinegar for a new summery taste to our salads.  We have also purchased two bottles for gifts to give to our favorite “Foodie” friends who we knew would enjoy an alternate condiment in their menu as well.  Check out our favorite recipe presented in a new way!

I love Nakano’s rice vinegars; use them in a lot of my stir frys. Never thought to add it to my potatoes, so I’ll try that next time. Thanks for the idea!

I made this for dinner the day I saw the recipe & it was very tasty. I am now out of Nakano seasoned vinegar because I made it two more times. We have all the herbs fresh from the garden plus lots of tomatoes have ripened so it’s a great recipe for us. In winter it will be equally as tasty when I use the dried herbs and canned tomatoes. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Memo to self, do not look at food posts just before contemplating a run which would mean eating dinner late. This looks so good I’m going for dinner now and maybe a shorter run later. Gotta check out this vinegar. – Katy

I caught a quick glimpse of this on my Fb feed earlier, and it just looked so delicious! Nakano is great for adding a healthy dash of flavor to just about any dish. Of course, they’re great on non healthy stuff too (like fish and chips)! Mmmmm!
