Bootie Trends Fall 2014

October 22, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 68 Comments

It’s Fall and you know what that means? BOOTS!

For this Bootie Trends Fall 2014 article, The Chief Blonde was sent two fabulous items from our Midnight Velvet :  The Carlos Santana Equinox bootie ($110) and the Soft Sophisticate Top ($50). Pants are Levis skinny jeans from Kohls, necklace is handmade.

FALL FALL FALL!  Not much I love about it  to be honest. I am just a summer person all the way. But as I always try to find the light in everything, one of the shining lights about fall for me is BOOTS and BOOTIES.

I mean come on! Aren’t these pretty darn fabulous? The Carlos Santana Brand is one of my favorite as it is always edgy but the shoes are super comfortable. Midnight Velvet usually carries several Carlos Santana styles.  Midnight Velvet also has a huge variety of booties in various styles, from low and flat to Western to high and slinky!

Bootie Trends Fall 2014 Details Left to Right, Top to Bottom (all Booties from Midnight Velvet): Black Annie Sleek Bootie ($100), Olive Carlos Santana Equinox Bootie ($110), Brown Restricted Bakersfield Bootie ($100), Dingo Willy Bootie ($140), Bronze Ritual Bootie ($110), Linquette Bootie ($160), Two Tone Boot ($100, Sale $30), Tassle  Zip Bootie ($130), Clarks Christine Tilt Bootie ($150).

Once I figured out how to style these booties, I wanted an edgy top to match the bootie’s style. I chose this Midnight Velvet Soft Sophisticate with peek-a-boo shoulders. Isn’t it just the right blend of sweet and biker chick?

All photos were taken in front of an Old General Store in Kilmanagh. Mi. If you ever want to get epic outfit shots, get outside of your regular environment and discover the cool architecture and landscape around you!  Like this:

Fall is just around the corner, and boots are starting to appear. Looks like booties are still very in style and these would work well.

I really don’t understand how entries work on this website. Where do I click to comment and then gain contest entries. An e-mail at your convenience to give me the tip on how this all works would be appreciated. Thanks

You look mahvelous dahling – I think that if those heels were chunkier, that I might even be able to wear them.
