Every recipe has tips and tricks that help you understand the nuances behind each recipe. There are photos galore, which is a must for me when using a cookbook. And well…MMMMM BACON!

I am really interested in some new recipes – my daughter is VERY picky and yet she loves bacon as do I, so I want to cook more with it 🙂 I also love to learn new things so the informational aspect appeals to me as well!

What appeals to me is BACON! What could go wrong with that?
Everyone is “bacon crazy” now, and I have a nephew is Over The Top bacon crazy whoud LOVE this! LOL My husband is a chef, so I can see LOTS of applications for new ideas, and GREAT gift giving potential in this book! Also found it interesting that Pearsall found that bacon qualifies as “umami”, that fifth taste sensation! That probably explains the bacon craze!

My doctor once told me to quit trying to eat “healthy” and eat bacon and eggs for breakfast and I would in fact be healthier. I do believe her and I love bacon.
