Since Pantone named “Beveled Glass” as a top color contender for Spring/Summer 2015, playful shades of Mint have been seen on fashion runways, celebrity style icons, streetwear fashionistas and beauty fanatics alike. Walt and I decided to join the trend when my dad stopped by on his way to a family “Jam” session, with his own take on “beveled glass”, his 1951 Plymouth.
Walt often takes my photos, as you know. This time we hooked my dad into taking the shots so we could get “Minty” together.
Do you have a TALL guy in your life? Walt is 6’6″ and he has a super tough time finding clothes that fit but don’t cost a fortune. We discovered Kohl’s carries Men’s Tall Sizes (and lots of Big Man sizes too!). Look at this ever so handsome IZOD shirt he has on. I love it because it’s so soft and the color is great on him, he loves it that I love it. LOL!
It wasn’t hard to find a zillion beveled glass aka. mint colored items at Kohl’s online. The hardest thing was choosing what not to get.

I did order quite a bit, (because you know Kohl’s shipping is free over $75) and then I was able to try on all the different choices with my own shoes. I finally settled on the gorgeous maxi above and this cute polka dot number below.

Aren’t these great looks on Walt? It’s so fun to see him in clothes that fit. The Tall Men clothing available at Kohl’s has been a real lifesaver for his wardrobe. He is so very handsome and now all his clothes will be too! Thanks Kohl’s!

I love the essie Gel Setter Mint Candy Apple Nail Polish & Top Coat Set. Essie is my favorite nail polish and I adore this color. It would look great on my toes!
They have quite a few backpacks in this collection that I like. Candie’s Floral Cargo, Candie’s Nicole Floral, and the MUDD Brennan Aztec jumped out at me. I like using backpacks as purses sometimes depending on where we are going. Plus, they work well for short overnight trips.

eos Visibly Soft Vanilla Mint Lip Balm Sphere is the only mint color I like. I really dislike the color mint, it reminds me of the bad ’70’s decor. Of course, that’s my opinion, I’m sure a lot of people love mint.
