Since Pantone named “Beveled Glass” as a top color contender for Spring/Summer 2015, playful shades of Mint have been seen on fashion runways, celebrity style icons, streetwear fashionistas and beauty fanatics alike. Walt and I decided to join the trend when my dad stopped by on his way to a family “Jam” session, with his own take on “beveled glass”, his 1951 Plymouth.
Walt often takes my photos, as you know. This time we hooked my dad into taking the shots so we could get “Minty” together.
Do you have a TALL guy in your life? Walt is 6’6″ and he has a super tough time finding clothes that fit but don’t cost a fortune. We discovered Kohl’s carries Men’s Tall Sizes (and lots of Big Man sizes too!). Look at this ever so handsome IZOD shirt he has on. I love it because it’s so soft and the color is great on him, he loves it that I love it. LOL!
It wasn’t hard to find a zillion beveled glass aka. mint colored items at Kohl’s online. The hardest thing was choosing what not to get.

I did order quite a bit, (because you know Kohl’s shipping is free over $75) and then I was able to try on all the different choices with my own shoes. I finally settled on the gorgeous maxi above and this cute polka dot number below.

Aren’t these great looks on Walt? It’s so fun to see him in clothes that fit. The Tall Men clothing available at Kohl’s has been a real lifesaver for his wardrobe. He is so very handsome and now all his clothes will be too! Thanks Kohl’s!

I like this little wrap chiffon dress. It is very fitted at the top, and I need that. It is also a style that I think you could wear at other times than summer because you could put a wrap or shawl with it.
I like the Nike FS Lite Run Women’s Running Shoes. They would add just the right pop of color to my exercise clothes.
I would purchase the mint converse shoes. How cute!
Skechers next generation shoes. Not only are they on sale 😉 but they look so cute for working out or running errands. Also, I’m a HUGE sketchers fan as they are so so so so comfortable.

My favorite mint item is the Nike Dual Fusion X Women’s Running Shoes, I love the design and color and I need a new pair of running shoes.

I really like the Naturally Fresh Mint Quinoa Nourishing Hand & Body Lotion. My hands get so dry and cracked in the fall and winter and this lotion would be so helpful.

Mint is one of my favorite colors, and I’ve really been into mint things lately. I already knew what one of my favorite mint colored items was going to be before I even went to Kohls online because I knew they had it. It’s the Baby Bjorn One carrier in one of the limited edition ice cream colors. They call the color pear, but it’s totally mint, not pear at all. I also saw some other really cute things though. I usually check for things for my baby boy first, and I love the Fisher-Price Riley Island 3-in-1 Crib. Not that we need another crib, but it is so adorable. And far as things for myself, I like a couple of purses – the mint Sonoma Basket-weave Tote and the mint Mudd Kenny Tote.
