Does Madison Reed Root Touch Up Work?
Dealing with roots without an appointment
So this is what I am dealing with..root growth. Ugly dishwater blonde sprinkled with gross gray, just NOT attractive when you are the Chief Blonde and Blogger at Still Blonde after all these YEARS!
Normally when I want to get rid of my roots I do this:
Shocking I KNOW! Yes, the Chief Blonde gets a little help occasionally from the highlighting bottle!
However sometimes, my roots appear and I don’t have time to get to an appointment right away. Usually, I just try to comb my hair creatively (THINK DONALD) until I can get into see my stylist.
But who am I kidding right? I need a quick fix! As I detailed in yesterday’s blog post, Blonde all the Way to the Roots with Madison Reed Root Touch Up, I have tried most of the temporary methods out there for temporary root touch up including the mascara type, sprays, markers…none rocked my world. When Madison Reed approached me about doing a sponsored review for their best-selling Root Touch Up powder, I was super interested.

I love getting the foils! You look great!
WOW! This product really worked and I bet it saved you a lot of money. You did a good job in matching up the color. Your hair looks great.
How many uses did you get from one container?
Hi Jeanine, I would say 30 at the very least, assuming you just apply it to your part and the area around your face if needed. I have never used a whole one but I seriously was blown away. Shelley
What a great product to touch up roots. I no longer need touch up because I am letting all my grey grow out. Fortunately it is pure platinum white and the rest of the color has been highlighted enough to look like a gradual transition.
Confused? In a previous comment you said you were blonde?
I’m amazed at how well Madison Reed works! I keep hearing about this product but this is the first time I’ve seen how it works. I’ve had white hair since I was 19 and I no longer cover it up now that I’m in my 40’s.

Really like the pictures. I go to the beauty parlor twice a year, but I don’t get root touch ups. I just get a trim and a perm. The perm usually lightens my hair.
Looks like a great way for me to touch up my roots. I need to purchase some. Thanks Shelley!
I love your before and after photos. I hate going to the salon too often to get a root touch up. It’s expensive, plus it is time consuming. I need to try this.
Now that I am almost 40 the grey is coming in. Thanks for sharing the info about this product.
At 49, I am constantly fighting gray hair roots. Madison Root touch up is something I have to try. I love your results and we have similar hair color.
