On this day of Remembrance, I pray that military families and those serving will be protected, that the citizens of the US will realize their blessings, and we will all remember those who lost their lives on this day and in any terrorist event or military conflict.

Wow, you’re right, thanks so much for sharing this info. I loved Jon Stewart video, I watched him at the time but had forgotten about it. I won’t forget now. It moved me so much more now, I was so upset at the time.

I moved here three months after Sep 11th, my sadness when all the happened, watching it in another country as a foreigner who loves this country was devastating!

Those hashtags were truly powerful. I didn’t know there was such a movement online with all these beautiful memorials.

I loved seeing all of these hashtags yesterday. It’s nice to take some time to remember those who were lost and those who lost loved ones in that tragic accident.

I will never forget where I was, what I was doing, or how it felt in those days after. I have two nephews that are active duty right now.

I could never forget. I think 9/11 will always be one of those days where we remember where we were, what we were doing, and how we felt when we heard the news.

This is a day I’ll never forget. I worked in the aviation business at that time, doing navigation planning for pilots. I’d spoken to one of the pilots a few times (the real pilots, not the hijackers). Everyone at work that day was numb and the all the pilots I talked to that day…well, it was just a very emotional day….

Being English it’s been interesting to see how Americans have been paying tribute to the day. It really did change your country, yes, for the worse in way, but more importantly for the better!

It’s so hard to even look at the pictures of this horrible event. My prayers are with the families that have been left behind…

That was such a terrible day. All we did all day in school was watch the news in utter disbelief.
