Such an important, somber occasion. I still remember the exact moment when time stood still all those years ago.

Such an important lesson for children to hear about. We must never forget the tragedy that occurred on that day. Future generations must hear the story so that the memory lives on.

I will never forget that day. It is imprinted on my memory. Each year I focus my homeschool lessons around our freedom, those who lost their lives and what this country means to me. It is so important to teach our children about this significant day.

It is so hard to believe that it was 14 years ago when all this happened. That day will most certainly never be forgotten.

I remember this day like yesterday. I still see the media coverage on this sad day and I am heartbroken. I did not do the #neverforget today, it is the end of the day, missed out.

I will never forget! I love reading the tributes that people do. It is such an honor to read all of them! I am still in shock that it ever happened in the first place!

I cannot imagine how those directly impacted by this event feel about this day. I know myself is just so heartbroken still from the lives lost, the bubble of (it will never happen to us) shattered and the fear that it could happen again. I pray for those who lost loved ones and for those who have fought and continue to fight for us every day. With how things are with the police force currently I hope that our nation can find the unity that existed after this event once again.

I was living in New York on 9/11 and it is true that I will #neverforget. My husband joined the military after that awful day. Thank you for encouraging that everyone remember.

#Neverforget the shock that came over our school when news broke that the twin towers went down. I live outside the U.S so it was quite shocking when those big buildings went down

Feels like yesterday. Always will, I guess… We will never forget, and certainly won’t ever forgive those responsible. I am a NYer, and both my husband and I worked on that FEMA response recovery operation in NYC; I worked it Sept-Jan. At least one of my FEMA coworkers has what they call “the 9/11 cancer”, and is slowly dying, and others are still stick. When I hear people talk sagely about “getting closure” I want to scream.

Our neighborhood put big American Flags in everyone’s yard today – organized by the Boy Scouts. It’s touching. Thanks for the reminder.

I still can’t look at the images from 9/11 without breaking into tears, so I’ll forgo the Instagram search. Thanks for the reminder of the importance of this day in our collective history; it’s also an important day in my personal history (as it is for so many of us), and I will never forget.
