Top 5 Light Bladder Leakage Solutions
- See your doctor–a doctor can help you establish your triggers, health issues etc.
- Exercise–one helpful way to reduce leaks is to strengthen the muscles of your pelvic floor. You can do this with yoga, Pilates, tai chi, walking, and kegels.
- Lose weight–extra weight leads to a weak pelvic floor.
- Track your Triggers–to discover what may be triggering your LBL, look for patterns by tracking your food, drinks, and activities.
- Be proactive with LBL!–Carry LBL specific liners (like Poise Microliners) in your purse or athletic bag. Consider packing a just-in-case tote of extra pants and underwear.

I know my grandmother really struggled with little bladder leaks even after surgeries. I realize how lucky I really am to not have this problem. Thanks for bringing attention to the problem.

This is a problem I often have. I hate to admit that but after a C-section and old age that is just the facts. I hate using period pads as they just aren’t as effective. Thanks for this review. On a side note I say a comment you made earlier on another website where you said you just got back from Lake Murray in SC. I live an hour from here and we spend so much time at this lake. It is absolutely beautiful. It made me curious about where you live?
Shelley Zurek says
Rena, My brother has a cottage on lake Murray. I am from Michigan. It’s such a lovely lake. Shelley

That’s so funny because when we go for an escape and some fun we usually head to Michigan. We love Mackinaw Island! Been there many many times!

This is a common problem that is often not talked about. I write about incontinence for a client and I am shocked about how little info is shared about it. Good for you!
