THE BIG BOOK OF BACON: Savory Flirtations, Dalliances, and Indulgences with the Underbelly of the Pig, by Jennifer Pearsall; November 4, 2014, 2014; $19.95; ISBN: 9781629145556
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: This giveaway is sponsored by me.  Here is an excerpt from my original review:

Now I know you have an idea of the delectable recipes in this 271 page full color book. You will love the heavyweight coated stock used to make the book and the oversized format. Every recipe has tips and tricks that help you understand the nuances behind each recipe. There are photos galore, which is a must for me when using a cookbook. And well…MMMMM BACON!

I am all over this book! I love that there is a bit of storytelling with the recipes to give you a background of the recipe history! This would be great for Father’s Day!

I’m actually not a huge bacon fan EXCEPT when it’s smothered in sugar (there’s a place in Shelby Twp that does this – OMG, so good!) so I’d be curious to learn more dessert/sugary recipes.

The author has spent time in my area (Tidewater VA) apparently, and I’m curious about desserts with bacon.

It’s bacon. It’s a big book. Of bacon. What more could you want. Other than more bacon?

I think bacon makes most things better and I don’t currently have a cookbook with lots of bacon recipes so this would be perfect for my family!!
